Monthly Rentals in Mackerel Cove

We had a lovely stay at the Shorehouse! Super easy to find and easy self-check in. Jennifer was an excellent host and was very responsive during our stay. The apartment has gorgeous water views and we really enjoyed watching the boats from both the deck and the dock. Everything in the apartment is super clean, comfortable, and well maintained - all the furniture, beds, linens, etc. The fully stocked kitchen was so appreciated in between restaurant meals! Great local recommendations in the guest guide. We'll definitely be back, thanks Jennifer and family!

Betsy’s home made for a wonderful stay! There was plenty of sleeping room for our large group, and a comfortable common room for meals and games. The house has been very tastefully renovated. Our favorite was sitting on the porch with morning coffee and enjoying the spectacular view!

Was a great place for me and my wife. The place was very rustic which I like. It reminded me of some cabins my family own in the upper peninsula of Michigan. The view was amazing. Spent the two days I was there watching sunsets and sunrises. The area was beautiful and very unique. We love the BIGS store. The people were friendly and the food was good. We also ate at Gurnet Trading Company and had my first lobster roll and clam chowder. It was fantastic. The only issue I had with the place was parking was bit small for a larger vehicle.

Incredible chance to experience the Maine coast! Great location for running and biking. Several community hiking options nearby as well. I really enjoyed relaxing and watching the bay change with the tides. Very well appointed kitchen. We hope to be back!
