Monthly Rentals in Machemont

Marie's house is at the end of a dead end street. The garden is well maintained. From the backyard you look into a valley with meadows. As a tenant, you have the downstairs apartment with its own private entrance. The decor is very complete and is very spacious. In the night it is very quiet which is fine for the night's sleep. A large supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. We will definitely come back.

We stayed for 2 weeks and all loved Lucie's house and garden! There were five of us including three children. The house is full of character and is a great size. It was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed (including a laundry room which was very handy). Lucie was very responsive and helpful with any queries. The garden is beautiful and full of flowers, trees and birds. We enjoyed sitting outside for meals and BBQs and playing table tennis on the table tennis table that is available. There is so much to do in the immediate area and beyond. We drove to Paris for a day, visited the Somme battle fields and museums and spent time in Compiegne which is a lovely nearby town. There are also woods just up the road from the house which were great for runs (especially hill runs!). We had a great holiday and would highly recommend. Thank you Lucie!

It's that kind of place, a home, where you immediately feel at home. And that's great! A place in all simplicity where it is good to share time with your loved ones.
