Monthly Rentals in Macchia

I stayed with Daniele for one night with my two children. We were very late because it took so long at the airport to get the rental car. But that wasn't a problem. Daniele is very easy to reach. The accommodation is for 2-4 people. Daniele has a great restaurant a few hundred meters away where we ate very well. The roof terrace there was absolutely fantastic. The room was as described and very clean. Parking was not an issue.

Dear Ada A week can last a war or a moment. One week will have passed tomorrow. We pulled the plug and walked at a mouse's pace. The church tells us what time it is, in case we were interested, but we are not. We just look down on the town from the balcony to see if the greengrocer is open or if it's siesta yet. We have stopped keeping an eye on Yr, because it is Etna who decides anyway. We also have a bakery, a butcher's shop, a café. And a restaurant, but it is new, so don't go there. The bakery sells pizza, cheese and prosciutto. And wine. The café also offers all you need. We may have to go to the butcher today, and every morning we pick a few oranges at sunrise for our breakfast. Then we listen to and watch the birds forever. We are I turisti. We speak Duolingo Italian and the young women in town promptly replies in German. The person I was, I am no longer. Now I see everything. Thank you so much for everything, Ada. We'll be back. Family stay in this beautiful spacious apartment! Beautifully decorated with the colors of Sicily and a great view of Etna. Thanks again to Andrea for the small Easter touches (decorations, chocolate) and all the practical information to feel comfortable in the city of Giarre.

The three of us had a nice time in the cottage. Upon arrival we received delicious homemade wine, honey and marmalade. We had booked Alfio as a guide for a trip to Mount Etna, which is definitely recommended, very educational and impressive and also a delicious lunch. Along the way Alfio found several Porcini mushrooms, Gabriella made us a great lunch the next day. Really a top spot!
