Recently renovated apartment in the historic center of Cannobio, situated along the lake-front of Lago Maggiore, just a few meters from the water. The apartment is distributed over three levels, and includes two independent bedrooms (one with a balcony of its own), two baths, dining room with kitchen and fireplace, and a double-height living room with rustic beams, an elegant corner fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the lake. The apartment is fully furnished, with usual kitchen accessories, dish-washer, clothes-washer, vacuum cleaner, and TV with DVD/CD player. Upon request, sheets and towels may be furnished for a modest charge. Within meters begins a choice between numerous restaurants, trattorie, wine bars, and ice-cream shops. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, and a large street market every Sunday morning. Also within five minutes walk is the Embarcadero, where it is possible to take boat excursions to a variety of tourist attractions on Lago Maggiore, both in Italy and Switzerland. Cannobio’s nearby Lido offers sunbathing and swimming, with possibilities of various aquatic sports including courses for wind surf and sailing. Adjacent to the Lido are other non-aquatic sports opportunities such as tennis, volleyball, and rental of bicycles or scooters. 200 meters from the apartment begins the bicycle trail that follows the course of the river Canobino, up the valley to the Orrido di Sant’Anna. The mountains in the Cannobina Valley offer various possibilities for excursions, with a network of well-marked trails connecting rustic stone villages along the valley, and reaching Switzerland on the north and the Parco Nazionale della Valgrande on the south, which is a wilderness area with characteristic plants, animals, and historic memories. The apartment will provide basic information on Cannobio, the Canobina Valley, and its network of trails.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt bei Nertila sehr gut gefallen. Sie war sehr nett und immer erreichbar, zudem haben wir gute Tipps von ihr bekommen! Zur Wohnung kann ich ebenfalls nur positives berichten, es war super sauber und genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral im Ort und hat eine gute Lage. Der Hafen und diverse Restaurants sind innerhalb von 2 Minuten zu erreichen!

Notre séjour a été formidable. La vue était formidable sur le lac Majeur, surtout le soir et la nuit, c'était tout simplement magique ! L'appartement était tout confort et tout équipé. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Thereze und ihr Mann waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der wunderschönen Aussicht vom Balkon, die jeden Morgen und Abend zu etwas Besonderem gemacht hat. Auch sonst war alles bestens – die Unterkunft war sauber, gut ausgestattet und rundum angenehm. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Martin and Nadja were very welcoming and friendly hosts. The house is immaculate, newly refurbished and very clean. Lovely location by the lake and just a couple of minutes’ walk to the ferry. Abbiamo trascorso un magnifico capodanno nella casa di Paola!!!!!!!!! Strepitoso!!!! La casa e’ grande ed offre tutte le comodità. La vista dal salotto e’ fantastica e da ogni stanza si può ammirare il lago … addirittura dal bagno😄. Letto davvero comodissimo e cucina ottimamente attrezzata. Paola fantastica e sempre presente per consigli, e per noi fondamentale la calorosa accoglienza ai nostri due cagnolini Frida e Pablo ai quali erano già state preparate due ciotole d’acqua. Purtroppo non sempre gli host di Aribnb soprattutto se si tratta di appartamenti di livello come questo sono ospitali con gli amici a 4 zampe … Paola e’ diversa lei ha accolto tutti con gioia ed entusiasmo ! In sintesi consigliassimo quando torneremo a Baveno non avremo dubbi ad andare da Paola.

Wir haben zu viert eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Fabienne hat stets schnell geantwortet und unsere Fragen beantwortet. Das Haus ist recht ringhörig und man muss abends auf die Nachbarn Rücksicht nehmen – wir hatten damit aber keine Probleme und fanden den Aufenthalt dennoch entspannt. Wir können diese Unterkunft herzlich empfehlen.
