An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

New apartment, in a residential area 150 mi from the lake, close to the best restaurants and pizzerias. Located on the ground floor of a modern Villa, directly on the garden, consisting of a living room with kitchen with dishwasher, double bedroom with king size bed, double bedroom and large bathroom. Separate entrance near the parking lot, large and well-kept garden available exclusively to guests, covered terrace for lunch. The apartment has free air conditioning and Wi-Fi.

Kavo Maison: Boho and cosy accommodation

Kavo Maison is immersed in the greenery of Sessa, a small village in Malcantone, only 15KM from Lugano and 10 minutes from Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano. The accommodation offers a double room, a breakfast corner (with microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge) and a private bathroom. A second room with a bunk bed and cot is available when booking for 3/4 persons. The accommodation has a private parking space, free wifi, and a large private garden.

For those who love hiking, there are several marked trails to reach places of interest such as Lake Delio, Campagnano. 3 km away is Maccagno, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, where you can go canoeing, wind surfing and sailing. From Maccagno, by boat, you can reach the most important places on the lake, both Italian and Swiss.

It is part of an ancient house situated in the romantic village of S.Agata at just fifteen minutes drive from the center of Cannobbio. Probably in very old times, this house was a kind of castle with his courtyard and the tower reaching 360 °of sight!
