Vacation rentals with beach access in Maccagno, Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca

We are a family with two kids (age 11 and 14) and we had a wonderful stay at Petra's place. The apartment is very well located. Within 3-5 min by walk are top restaurants, an excellent bakery, a supermarket, as well as public transports. Yet the place is very quiet. The apartment is conveniently located for both hiking (there are even trailheads at a few hundreds meters) and river activities. The apartment was sparkling clean, we felt right at home. Petra and Andrea are nice hosts, providing lots of useful tips (food, activities) but respect your privacy. They live on the ground floor. Definitely recommended! We would come back without hesitation.

This place is amazing! The quiet nights on the patio, or walking down to the lake to enjoy the lights in the castle with evening setting on Lake Como were so wonderfully relaxing. I would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the insanity of Varenna. Other pluses. Town parking pass for Dervio. Amazing breakfast waiting for the ferry there, full kitchen for spectacular sunset meals with the best view of the lake!

Un lieu exceptionnel avec une vue incroyable ! Cet appartement est tout simplement magique. Après une journée à explorer les merveilles autour du lac de Côme, c'était un vrai bonheur de rentrer dans ce cocon chaleureux. La vue est à couper le souffle, et l'ambiance du lieu est paisible et ressourçante. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de générosité, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. Franchement, on ne voulait plus repartir ! Une expérience inoubliable dans un endroit unique.

Super nette Gastgeberin, tolles Apartment mit Vollausstattung. Es mangelte uns an nichts. Lage direkt gegenüber vom Schiffsableger, nahe bei Villa Charlotte. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, vielen Dank 🤗

Very nice place, well decorated and a great view of the lake. The garden was serene and an excellent spot for some wine and a book. General note about the area- it is not easy to access without a car. There is a bus but during busy season seemed unreliable / at max capacity and didn’t run as frequently as we would have assumed. The little town itself was perfect and quaint but if you are trying to spend a decent amount of time exploring como and the other major areas it might be a bit logistically difficult.

WOW. This is a great flat. It’s even better than the photos. The view is priceless. Alessandra is a great host. She is proactive. She initiated the contacts to make sure everything is Okay. She gave us recommendations regarding restaurants and places to visit. She even gave is delicious biscuits made by her Mother. I would recommend this place for anyone wants to relax in lake Como. I shall visit this place again. Thank you Alessandra and Andrea.

If I could give it 10 stars I would!! The view is stunning, the flat is right on the lake and has everything you need. Betty goes up and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable!! She has thought of everything! The place was stocked with water, coffee, snacks and breakfast items and made it so easy on us. There are many small touches like shelf’s in the bedrooms, QR codes to access things and so many more that make everything easy. The parking space worked great and she met us there and even insisted on helping with luggage. I cannot say enough about the kindness of Betty and Markus!! She gave great recommendations. There is a beach here and they provided wet shoes and beach towels for swimming. And a covered area with nice chairs to lounge by the beach! The patio was awesome, overlooking the lake and where we loved to have our morning coffee! Only regret is that I wish we could stay a week. Highly recommend! Would love to come back! Thank you Betty and Markus for a perfect 3 days!

Beautiful apartment with magnificent view This apartment is very airy, with lots of big doors that open to fresh lake air. The views from the apartment is stunning. It is very clean and beautiful, with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and all the amenities including washing machine. There is reserved car park next to the apartment building. Lenno is a very small town and peaceful compared to Bellagio or Varenna, and we prefer it. Practical advise - there is ferry terminal close to our building but the ferry is very infrequent, so you must plan your trip with precision (we did not use it though). We drove to Cadenabbia (7-10 mins) as it has more ferries there but parking is almost impossible to get. If you can hire motorbike (Vespa) is better. Sabrina our host is very responsive and very helpful with all our needs. We would love to come back.

Thank Serenella for hosting us. The apartment was pristine, view was beautiful, basket was full of complimentary items. Anyone that needs some time to collect themselves and be away from civilizition and think things through, this is the spot! Thanks again .

Would recommend this spot - you are right in the middle of the busy waterfront! We loved - location (next to where we rented a boat, literally next to the funicular (this is busy frequently so we were able to watch as the line became more manageable) located just steps away from the Airbnb, VERY close to train station, very close to a supermarket, kids loved the hot tub. The host is so responsive and friendly, loved him. We received a welcome bottle of wine which was nice, thank you!! Only minus - (this was NOT terrible) but there is construction next door and they begin early (8am) which woke me up but no one else in the home. The ants, there are some ants that live in the yard in front and end up in the home - this was not overwhelming just slightly annoying.

First time visiting Veranna. Great location; 5 minute walk to train station and less than 5 minutes to ferry. House was well stocked and cozy. Lovely garden. Perfect for family of five.

Eine sehr schöne, ruhige Unterkunft mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Carlo ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gut ausgestattete.

Séjour calme et reposant. La communication était facile et efficace. Accessible en train, à 10-15 minutes à pied de la gare. Merci pour tout :)

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiorella's house, which was perfectly located in a peaceful environment. Fiorella was really responsive and welcoming. The house is well adapted to a small family. We will definitely come back to Fiorella's house

Wow! We have fallen in love with Varenna! We are so happy that we booked Marco and Syliva's wonderful apartment who were very welcoming! A breathtaking (beyond words or photos) view awaits you in the apartment. Everything was as pictured and even better. The terrace outside was an extra bonus! Large and private with an incredible view of course. The beds were very, very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless - good size, all the amenities and the shower was very nice with good water pressure and hot water. The apartment is up the hill from the ferry and quiet and peaceful. A short walk (5 min) brings you into the main square of the town. Varenna is small, so everything is close. Restaurants amazing! Al Prato and il Cavatappi were great! The Monastery & Villa Capressi - gorgeous! We took a boat ride. We toured other amazing villas too. Plenty of room for me and my husband & our adult daughter. Awesome spot! Stayed here for one night for our honeymoon trip. Great view, easy access to great restaurants, beautiful area to walk around, and super friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Just brilliant! One of the best places we stayed in across our 3 mths in Europe!! For Lake Como it was absolutely perfect! Very highly recommended indeed!!

Superfijne dagen gehad in Palanzo! Rustige omgeving met veel privacy, prachtig uitzicht en goede koffie op nog geen minuut lopen van de accommodatie. Verbeterpunten zouden wat mij betreft de ligstoelen op het terras zijn, deze zijn versleten. Verder zou er iets meer koffie en thee mogen zijn en de kussens zijn aan de dunne kant (persoonlijk). Host Donatella is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en heeft ons persoonlijk ontvangen en alles netjes toegelicht. Wat ons betreft een aanrader hier een paar dagen te verblijven.

Wir waren vier Tage in der Unterkunft und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es gibt alles, was man braucht. Es lohnt sich auch, einmal zu Fuß in den Ort zu laufen und durch die kleinen Gässchen zu schlendern. Unten an der Hauptstraße gibt es einen kleinen Feinkostladen, der es uns sehr angetan hat. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man in Stresa und in 20 Minuten in Arona, wo man gut shoppen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The views from the apartment are truly insane. Every window stayed open our entire trip so we could soak it all in. Rosa was very responsive especially when a landslide blocked one of the roads and she communicated an alternative route to reach the AirBnb. She also helped us out by sending us 3 taxi driver numbers when we needed a ride out of Bellagio. We enjoyed being a little off the beaten path in Careno. It was an easy walk into Nesso. FYI there is a dock at the base of Careno so if you charter a boat they can pick you up there. Highly recommend!

Lovely lakeside views, calm and peaceful; these are hard to beat. We were treated to chilled prosecco and enough coffee pods to get us through a couple days! Our host provided perfect video instruction to get in so we had the flexibility to arrive when we wanted. The space was bright in the common areas and muted in the bedroom area for sleeping. Plus two bathrooms with new showers, very well apportioned. (Remember to bring soap or body wash as it was not supplied) Drive to Bellagio less than 15 minutes—the roads in the area are windy and a bit narrow but we got used to it. We ate out but the kitchen was well set up with utensils.
