Nice place to stay. Close to the water. Restaurants everywhere. We took two dogs (a Samoyed-6 years and a Scotch Collie- 9 months) and they were welcomed almost everywhere. Would certainly stay here again. Val

In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

Loved this cute little cabin on the river! It was spotless and had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Lorrie was a great host!

The location is truly exceptional—situated right on the water, it offered breathtaking views and picture-perfect sunsets each evening. The setting was peaceful, private, and ideal for a relaxing escape. The home itself had a unique charm, with a few characterful quirks typical of a lakeside cottage, none of which detracted from the comfort or tranquility of our stay. The host provided a well-organized and helpful guidebook, which included clear instructions for the house and thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and dining. Overall, this was a delightful and restorative retreat, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended for those seeking serenity and natural beauty in a cozy lakeside setting.

Good location, everything we needed (and was advertised). Clean, no issues checking in or out, and a very responsive owner. Worked great for us, will probably look to book the same place in the future.

Dan and Eric have a lovely end unit of a row house with a fully enclosed backyard. My husband, pooch and I were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and there were some spices and condiments available for our use. They had a really nice touch to supply tea and Kurig coffee with sugar or sweeteners as well as poop bags! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of linen. I appreciated the electronic lock and driveway parking. The place was really nice and clean too.

This was a beautiful destination that is private and away from the road, but close enough to all major shopping. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in and had all amenities that you could think of. The host was very friendly and responsive. He even had coffee and breakfast in the Airbnb for us in the morning. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking. The bathrooms had everything you need for a shower or bath and even had toothbrushes, toothpaste and makeup wipes. The pictures almost don’t do it justice because it is such an amazing gem. I can’t wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the pool and outdoor deck area. I would say it is perfect for a family or even a romantic getaway for a couple as there are standup showers and a Jacuzzi jet tub. Better than a hotel and amazing value for the price. We won’t stay anywhere else when we come in the area and we always come back to this property.

Just had a wonderful stay at The Oasis at Brook Place in Kingston, Ontario! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. It’s in a super convenient location—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a clean and cozy getaway spot in Kingston!

Ken is very kind, friendly, helpful and funny. His house and yard are gorgeous and the view of Lake Ontario is unbeatable! The hot tub, deck with fire table, pool and the seating with a fire pit out in the yard are perfectly set up. We wouldn’t couldn’t ask for more! The town of Pulaski is not far and easy to get to if you ever need but the sunsets are so beautiful you may not want to leave the house! Selkirk Shores State Park is only a couple minute drive and can be seen from the yard. We really love staying here each year when we come upstate to go salmon fishing. It’s the perfect fancy retreat after a day in the woods. We’ve started bringing our daughter and parents this year and even those who don’t fish were just happy to hang out at the house and enjoy the amenities. The view alone is worth the price how nice the house is and how kind Ken is, are an amazing bonus! I can’t say enough good things! We will return!

The price was a little high however we booked a little last minute and it was clearly the high season, plus can’t complain when the cottage was VERY clean, great accommodations. The AC worked super well especially considering how many windows and how hot it was, and the staff were super nice and helpful!

Our family of 5 was comfortable and location was great for our plans. Neighborhood was friendly, quiet and felt at home.

The house and grounds were great, Such a wonderful find for a weekend getaway. Gillian med us upon our arrival and gave us a third walk-through of the property. A very kind and welcoming host. There was an incredible amount of space in this country ranch, both indoors and out. A hot tub was clean and large enough for my group to hang out, picnic tables outside, made for a good barbecue. It was such a short trip to downtown Alexandria Bay, five minutes, it really was a great place to be right next to the heart of it all well not being stuck the rest of the visitors. We all look forward to looking this place again and enjoying the thousand islands

This airbnb was very spacious and fun. We held my bachelorette weekend get away here with my bridesmaids. Helen was very responsive to our messages and made our stay a breeze. The pool is very clean and the rooms are great size. The dinning room and living room was a great set up for game night! this airbnb is about 20 minutes from awesome spots at Alexandra Bay.

Awesome place! The host was amazing and responsive with everything. Beautiful views and perfect for fishing. The pizza placed recommended was so delicious. Would return for sure!

Our family gathered in Watertown to have Thanksgiving with our son who lives there and is stationed at Ft. Drum. We wanted a nice place on the water where the adults could stay and the family could gather for Thanksgiving dinner. Jane's place was nice and cozy for the adults who stayed and enjoyed by all who came for dinner. Jane was responsive to any communications and helpful when we thought our stay may have to be extended due to the threat of 60+ inches of lake effect snow. We were able to check out on time and would love to return when we could truly enjoy the yard, water access, kayaks etc.

I can’t say enough about Virginia and her amazing retreat. We were looking for a simple halfway stop on our way home from seeing family in the US and found this amazing space run by wonderful people. It was a treasure and we will be back. This beautiful family is forging a new way of living and travel that is sustainable and gives me hope. She is a great host if you have children and are interested in forest school and learning about local history and geography. My son was free to run and hear nothing but nature sounds and then we took the ferry everyday into Kingston to explore Canadian history and culture and eat amazing food. We went to the Wolfe Island hotel to eat local wonderful food and visited the stunning isolated beach every night at sunset. Wolfe Island is a place like no other. I had such a great connection with the host and her commitment to the earth and the future. Thank you Virginia!

This is a lovely home on a quiet street. Four of us stayed here for a long-weekend birthday celebration and found it charming. We had hot weather one day and enjoyed using the large barbecue and eating in the screened pavilion. Another day was chilly, so the gas-lit woodstove was enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the furnishings were very comfy. We enjoyed the view from the sunporch, even when it was rainy. Thanks, Susan for a cozy stay!

We were extremely pleased with our stay and enjoyed being able to stay close to the lake and where we sailed. The apartment was comfortable, clean and welcoming. It was within walking distance of the village and historic sites. We couldn't have booked a nicer place.

We saw deer several times. Very clean and private. There was a lovely welcome basket with snacks to enjoy! Very thoughtful! We loved the fireplace/heater! It was useful as it was pretty chilly during our stay. The only downside was the squeaky floors while walking around. I don’t think there’s much you can do about that though. The bathrooms were nicely renovated! The water pressure was a little low, but manageable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! It was so peaceful!

We had an amazing stay at Sean’s place. The host was fast to respond and very helpful. The location was beautiful and we loved being able to have a fire or two while we were there. The house was perfect and everything was very clean! I would definitely stay here again!!
