Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Luxor

This was simply the best experience we could wish for on our first visit to Luxor. The house itself is very spacious with super comfortable beds and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The outdoor spaces and the balconies are just divine with panoramic views across the Nile. The pool was the perfect temperature and a must after being out in the hot sun. The house is better than the photos. What really made our stay so amazing was the host Arlene, the Hotel staff next door and the most amazing taxi driver Ahmed...all of who could not do enough for you to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable it could be. The hotel food was delicious and very well priced for the huge amount you were served. There is also a small family run restaurant 'The Farmers House' just past Djorff Palace Hotel, where the food is incredible - Veggie option is the best! Thankyou Sayed, Osman and a MASSIVE Thankyou to Arlene and Ahmed, for making us feel like we had a second home in Luxor. WE WILL BE BACK!

The place is very quite and private. With a big terrace and beautiful garden with flowers and cat. Everything was clean and Hassan is very nice and friendly. Only walk for 10min to get to port, Highly recommend!!!

Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und kundenorientiert. Jeder Wunsch wurde umgehend erfüllt. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten benötigt. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist super. Auch die Sitzecke im Garten ist sehr schön. Ich werde sehr gern diese Unterkunft erneut buchen.

Big thanks to Liza and Karen for amazing time in Luxor and in this house! Karem always helps with everything even in th middle of the night. He gave us many options to spend our time, and he become a friend to us in this journey. The view is unbelievable, we’ve never seen anything like that. The house itself is lovely, it had many little things for our comfort. The AC works nice. I wish everyone to see this place at least once, and I hope we’ll get a chance to visit Luxor again. P.S. you may meet some non-dangerous insects and lizards in the house, because it’s a desert; there’s nothing you or hosts can do with it, so it’s okay :) Even though there’s nothing you can do, Karem came to us and helped with little “roommates” in the middle of the night, so nothing was bothering us at all.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the view was breathtaking. The pool was perfect — clean, relaxing, and a true highlight of the place. The area is peaceful and very safe, ideal for a relaxing vacation. What truly made our experience exceptional was the tour guide Ahmed. He took everything to another level — incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, and always made sure we had the best of everything: from delicious local food to unforgettable temple visits and a stunning Nile cruise. He truly made our trip 100 times better. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Staying at Hannah & Ahmed’s beautiful villa was the highlight of our holiday. It’s such a tranquil spot with breathtaking views, my family and I loved being in a more rural location, and yet so close to ancient Egyptian history. We were made to feel very welcome, they gave us excellent recommendations on nearby restaurants and arranged a tuk tuk which was great fun. They made everything easy for us which added to a relaxing stay. The villa is spacious and stylish, it has everything you could wish for. The roof terrace is gorgeous, watching the hot air balloons with a cup of tea at sunrise was a magical moment and something I’ll never forget. I would 100% recommend staying here, you will love it.

Ahmed was very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. His communication was great and it was evident that his priority was for us to have a great time in Luxor. He had great recommendations for things to do, as well as connecting us with trustworthy people for all of our exploring. His home was very beautiful and the beds were super comfy, making them the perfect place to rest after a long day in the heat. Ahmed really made us feel like family and I highly recommend him to anyone!

We had a wonderful experience staying in Villa Lostris. They provided us everything we need and beyond. By providing food, fruits, water, juice, milk and lots more. I can say you don't have to worry about anything, just bring your clothes and you'll be fine. It is a peaceful ambience and you will feel relaxed when you get home after a long-day activities. Linda and Eid are fantastic host, very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended!

De largo el mejor Airbnb donde nos hemos hospedado en Egipto, camas bien hechas y limpio, lo extrañamos mucho en nuestro viaje a Egipto donde la limpieza da mucha que desear. Nos ayudó en todo y preparó un desayuno rico para nosotros, Airbnb recomendado, lo malo es que no es tan cerca del centro, pero nada que un uber o un driver pueda solucionar. Una terraza fantástica y tomar en cuenta que aunque estuvimos en una primera planta, no hay ascensor, sobre todo tomarlo en cuenta por si vienen con personas con movilidad reducida.

Adham's house is simply cozy. It is located in the West bank, more laid back. I prefer peaceful surrounding as opposed to being right in the city among the hustle & bustle. The house is close proximity to all the attractions in the West Bank, all reachable by cab within maximum of 15 minutes. Adham was always checking on me, that's sweet of him as a host who takes care of his customers. The house comes with washing machine & a fully equipped kitchen, so it was easy for me to manage my food (I'm vegetarian) and my dirty clothes. There's also metal clothes drying rack to dry your clothes. Adam provided my pick up and drop off to airport for a sum. It was at wee hours and he did not charge me extra. I would definitely return to Adham's home if I visit Luxor in future.

Hamdi a été très amical avec nous, il nous a même montré nos prénoms en hiéroglyphe (expérience peu commune). Il nous a aidé à booké des activités. Son immeuble est propre, et les employés du bar sont également très sympathiques 🙏 si nous devions revenir à luxor, nous reprendrons ce logement sans hésiter. Piscine très agréable avec le mini bar

This place was one of the loveliest stays in Egypt. With a great view over the Nile, amazing breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. the service was really good and all the staff, especially Ashraf were very helpful and organised many trips for us including a sunrise balloon trip at very reasonable prices

We loved staying at this flat: It was quiet on the West Bank and it's just five mins away from the ferry. Hassan was a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host, he picked us up at the train station and also showed as around Luxor. The flat itself was spacious, had a good kitchen with everything you could need and comfortable beds with good bedsheets. Warmly recommend!

Mohammed was a very helpful and kind host. He will always make sure you’re okay. He brought us some bananas first night we stayed in. Which was very nice from him 🥹🥰 The place is located in the peaceful site of the city which makes the place a peaceful home. The swimming pool definitely is the star of the house. My little one enjoyed a lot. The only thing I will recommend to Mohammed is equipe the kitchen a little bit more. Maybe few more cutlery and fry pans will be helpful. Overall was a great place to stay in! Thank you very much.

No os perdáis el alojamiento. Tan agradable como preciso en los servicios que puede ofrecer ofrecer por el momento (tanto Carine como Alí están en proceso de ampliar y mejorar sus instalaciones). Localizado en un entorno rural, en el lado del Valle de las Reinas y de los Reyes (Luxor) es, sin duda un remando de paz y silencio egipcio. Los desayunos son excelentes de verdad y a un precio insuperable. Carine es un encanto de mujer, suiza, muy alegre y súper trabajadora. Sin duda un lugar para alojarse cuando vayáis a visitar a Luxor, Karnak, el Valle de las Reinas, el Valle de los Reyes, el de los Artesanos, etc., a un precio y limpieza insuperable. Gracias Carine y Alí por vuestra ayuda y os deseamos lo mejor, en todos los sentidos.

Un logement exceptionnel avec vue dégagée sur la vallée des rois depuis la terrasse, la chambre et le salon. En rentrant dans l'appartement j'ai été saisi par la taille de ce dernier : un grand salon, une grande chambre avec un lit double, et une douche qui ferait rougir mon petit studio parisien. Saleh a été un hôte remarquable et très attentionné. Fort de son expérience de guide, ses recommandations ont toujours été pertinentes. Une très belle rencontre humaine Je recommande à 100%

Super appartement situé rive ouest proche de plusieurs restaurants et à 5 min du ferry. L’endroit est calme. Nous avons aussi apprécié les volets complètement occultants sur la porte fenêtre de la chambre. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine (trop fraîche fin février 🤪) mais ça donnait bien envie 😉 L’hôte a été très réactif par message lorsque c’était nécessaire mais il n’habite pas ici, donc nous avons été accueillis par une personne intermédiaire.

Ammar is responsive for communication. The place is right in from Nile River with peaceful view. This place is located at Westbank, in a local village.

Mohamed a été parfait du début à la fin, ainsi que son personnel, au top. Je recommande vivement, si vous recherchez tranquillité mais tout de même très accessible à ce qui est proposer dans cette ville, activité comme restaurant.
