Very convenient location with a beautiful view near a great lake. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, parks. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Cozy and enjoyable stay! Would love to come back again!

Everything complied with the description and was very clean. Nice living-dining room, balcony with great view. One bedroom very nice and large. The two beds in the small room are suitable for children or young adults, but hardly for our generation. Kitchen small but well furnished. The two wet rooms are small but convenient, except for the missing waste bins.

A beautifully located small apartment where you can find everything you need for a few relaxing vacation days! From the dining table inside or outside on the terrace you have lake view! The apartment is simply but comfortably furnished, the bed comfortable and the kitchen spacious and well equipped. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect location for us travelling as a family. The bus stop was right opposite the apartment building, it’s only 1 stop away from the main railway station, and a beautiful 10 minute walk to where all the shops start. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a luxurious feel to it. Thanks to the host for their responsiveness.

Gerda is one of the best hosts I've ever encountered: nice, kind, funny and flexible. A truly nice human being. And the flat was great: clean and tidy, it's the perfect spot to visit Locarno. We were there for the film festival, we highly recommend it!

Great location, clean, nice garden to linger and quiet. Could check in an hour earlier and use the underground parking space.

Claudia is a world-class hostess, she speaks several languages, was very friendly and incredibly accommodating. The place had a lot of cool gadgets like a fully lit ceiling which you could also dim. The furnishings were like in a hotel, you really noticed how much passion was put into it (various towels, shower and shampoo, water in the fridge, etc.). What was definitely the highlight was the entrance to the nearby wellness center (Splash) included in the price, which was easily accessible on foot. For me and my partner it was the perfect wellness weekend and we will definitely visit Claudia in her super accommodation again!! =D

The apartment was absolutely great – a beautiful and peaceful place from where you can easily hike up Mount San Salvatore. It’s just a short walk down to the bus stop, where you can catch buses for trips to Lugano or nearby villages. Angela was a wonderful host . She kindly picked us up for free late at night from the FlixBus stop, showed us everything at the accommodation, and it was lovely chatting with her. We definitely recommend this place and if we get the chance, we’d love to come back.

First, a thank you to Urs. With our dog we had a lovely time in Vira Nov/Dez and we will definitely be back. The lakeside location was simply beautiful, as was our daily hikes in magnificent nature. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. A former hotel in the middle of the village, friendly people, bus in front of the house, shopping opportunities, super Gelatis, by boat to Locarno, etc...cozy living, what more do you need. Salve

Very clean and warm cosi apartment where we had a great stay...will be sure to come back during our next stay in Ascona. The garden adjoins a beautiful pool with few people frequenting it. Ideal for a family. In addition, Tiziana was very responsive to all our requests. Nothing to say...it was perfect.

Everything worked out very well! Sheila welcomed us very nicely and gave great tips for places to discover and eat. We were also allowed to use private bicycles. The apartment was very clean, has a lot of space and is located right on the lake and in 5 minutes you are in Locarno!

Everything was just amazing! I stayed for 4 nights with Sheila and her cats and had a very good time in Minusio. The house is very spacious, clean, nicely decorated and just a few footsteps away from the lake. Sheila is a wonderful host that helps you with everything you need and she is very nice to talk with!

A good friend and I felt very comfortable at Sheila's. We were able to really enjoy her lovely balcony with beautiful views of the lake and mountains for our specially prepared breakfast. In the kitchen, we were allowed to use everything we needed. With Sheila's small bikes, you could ride everything along the lake to Ascona and enjoy dinner there. Near Sheila's home there was a lovely meadow and swimming in the lake, right by the fine Osteria restaurant. My good friend heard the train at night and needed earplugs. I myself didn't hear it much and I could sleep well without earplugs. Very nice hostess. You shouldn't have any trouble with the cats, because you encounter them everywhere every now and then, but they are not cheeky. Thank you Sheila for the nice stay with you and your trust.

Nice house in the quite village of Aranno. Free parking is a 2 min walk away. We enjoyed chilling in the spacious garden in the evening. The two Queen beds are a bit small but can still accommodate 4 people without much difficulty.

This home is perfect for a family with dogs. The kitchen is well stocked, the garden completely fenced, beds comfortable and we felt very much at home. Meet and greet went really well. Thank you for sharing your home - we will definitely return!!

A huge thank you to Yoko, Paulo and their daughter Saori for their wonderful welcome 💛 Gold hosts, really. Their hospitality is an admirable balance between immersion in a Swiss-Japanese family and visitor autonomy. We had some really interesting exchanges filled with enthusiasm and kindness with Yoko, Paulo and Saori. They were very available to give us tips for sightseeing and to help us. The traditional house is very beautiful and the studio made available matches the description, very clean and welcoming. The garden is beautiful, with a terrace under an arbor where we were able to eat the delicious breakfast prepared by Yoko. It would be missing something to go to Morcote without staying with them! We can only recommend that you go to these "super hosts" whose title is more than deserved. We wish them beautiful encounters thanks to their warm and generous welcome.

Thank you for a pleasant stay! Only parking was a bit complicated, because you can hardly park your car anywhere in Locarno/Minusio for more than a few hours. This is of course not Valentina's fault. I just want to advise all future guests to arrive without a car.
