In Bracken Cottage you immediately feel at home, you unwind in this lovely cottage that fits like a jacket. Open the curtains in the morning and look into the beautiful greenery (and a blue sky - we were really lucky with the sunny weather). We were warmly welcomed by Helen and later Beccie came to ask if everything was okay. Flowers on the table, a basket with cream tea and bread, milk, butter and eggs... very welcoming, this is greatly appreciated. We did not use the car, did everything by e-bike - although the traffic is quite spicy. Because we stayed here before, we knew the way and the beautiful places to visit. Zennor (pub Tinners Arms, Penzance, Sennen Cove, the galleries, museums and coffee shops in St. Ives etc.). In short: I hope to come back to Beccie's house again. She is a welcoming and fun woman.

Truly excellent value for money, and heartily recommended for a week’s stay; it felt homely, comfortable and for dog-owners the memorial garden 20 yards away is a genuine blessing! Ed welcomed us with a non-invasive visit on the first day and is local to help out with any queries. The beds were clean and comfortable and upstairs was spacious, airy, light and super well-equipped including an excellent washer/dryer for clothes and the smart dishwasher was a welcome addition as we entertained family members on a few nights. The real stand-out was the best bathroom I’ve used in a long time! There’s an option for a bath, hosed shower or a lovely big plate set in the ceiling for a real waterfall experience ❤️ Lots of hot (really hot!) water and decent pressure made light work of long days in the sun and sand

We had a wonderful stay at Joseph and Bernadeta’s place. The cottage is very cosy and has everything you need. The garden is a nice size; private and peaceful. Easy to get to Penzance by car and a lovely walk starts just across the road and finishes at the pub- perfect! We hope to come back soon.

The location is set in a beautiful and quiet location. 5 min drive to Marazion and beach plus within driving distance of other locations and attractions. The pod was really nice, well thought and felt cosy. Our little ones loved it and especially loved the outdoor fire roasting marshmallows. We met Mark who has been very friendly and approachable. We're definitely looking to come back here again.

We loved our stay at Dee’s place. As others have said it’s definitely not your standard beige holiday let but once we got settled in we really enjoyed the space. The views are amazing- one morning we woke up and everything was pink from a beautiful sunrise. The beds are very cosy, there is parking right outside and yes, there is a shower even the you can’t see it in the pics. Study the photos carefully so that you know what you’re getting (changes of level might not suit everyone) and can see Dee’s unique eclectic style and you won’t be disappointed. Dee was away when we were there at new year but her comms from afar were warm and friendly and she made sure we were well looked after in her absence. Didn’t try the sauna due to dodgy weather but it looked fun.

I absolutely loved staying at Miners rest. This was a solo trip for me to get some much needed time away after a really stressful and emotional time. I somehow managed to book the wrong dates and turned up a whole day early ! I was so confused when I arrived, but Abi and Mark quickly responded to my message and arrived to me quietly crying on the sofa ! They couldnt have been more lovely and understanding and quickly got to work to get the home fully ready for me... I felt so welcome and so held. Miners rest was the perfect spot for me to unwind and not feel like I needed to be out and about all the time. Its bright, peaceful, tucked away and has great facilities. The best of West Cornwal isnt far away either. I loved spending an afternoon in Sennen and eating in the sunshine, having dinner in St Ives and shopping in Penzance. I really hope to return to the Miners Rest again in the Autumn. Its a gem and a real home from home.

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

Had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Lisa's accommodation. Very spacious, plenty of room for me, my husband and our dog. Comfy beds. Lovely to find milk, tea, coffee, Cornish biscuits and fresh flowers on arrival. Site very peaceful and friendly staff at pub. We easily travelled to Lands End and St Ives while staying here and not far from the coast. Tesco short drive away. Would stay here again and would recommend to others wanting to visit this part of Cornwall.
