Comfortable stay in a historic house

This 2.5-room apartment close to the city with free parking is very quietly located on a cul-de-sac and surrounded by greenery. Within walking distance it is only 3 minutes to the bus and 5 minutes to the lake promenade. So the city of Lucerne can be reached in 8 minutes or completely on foot along the popular lake promenade in about 15 minutes. The house is older, but the decor is modern or partly new. On cleanliness and hygiene, we attach great importance to make you feel comfortable.

Located between Grand Casino, Old Town and the famous Lion Monument. It is a one bedroom apartment. There's one separate bedroom and a loft area upstairs with two beds next to each other in the open space. Also, there's a sofa bed. There's only one bathroom in this apartment which is in the bedroom. This apartment has a pretty large terrace, though. It has a very nice view of the mountains "Bürgerstock", "Gemsstock" and the rooftops of other houses in the city.

It's a new and modern apartment with only one room and a lovely gallery. So it's an ideal place to stay for a couple or a small family (no separate bedroom!). In the bathroom there's a bathtub and a shower. You've got a good equipped kitchen.

Simone’s place was definitely a 5 star. The location was great. It was outside of Lucerne but the bus station was only a stone throw away, and it only takes 20 mins by bus to Lucerne train station. The room was spacious, very clean, has lots of storage, and has a very nice bed. Simone makes us feel really comfortable at her place, I like how she specially dedicated some spaces of her home in the kitchen and the toilet for you to put your own things. It just makes you feel like you are part of the household, even when it was just for a short while :) Simone was also kind and friendly. She checked on us time to time to make sure everything was okay. Spike the cat was really adorable and it made our stay even more special. It is definitely a place that you will miss when you leave. 100% recommended to anyone visiting Lucerne. We will love to come back one day when we have the chance.

My husband & I only stayed for 2 nights. It's about 15 minutes walk to Luzern train station, Pier 1 to go to Mt. Rigi, & Old Town Lucerne (countless restaurants to choose from). Also, a good base to hike Stoos Ridge. The area is safe, the place itself is very clean & comfortable. There's a fridge (top shelf only) for guests to use and a small nook to drink coffee/tea. On our first night, they were playing Bob Dylan's record 😉 🙌🏽 Overall, we had a pleasant stay! Thank you, Richard/Betsy, for sharing your home!
