Perfect house, perfect host

What a wonderful stay we had at Unterstutzberg, a charming 100 year old chalet. It was an absolute winter wonderland, with a nice layer of fresh snow having fallen shortly before we arrived. We only had a few glimpses of the stunning views because of thick fog, but that somehow added to the magic of the home. We're already planning to return someday in the future!

Absolutely perfect house, beautiful interiors and insanely spotless like I’ve never seen before, it’s practically a showroom from the pages of a magazine! There is a great clear view down to the lake but it’s very close to the neighbours on three sides which I didn’t realize, the garden is practically shared and we were a bit unlucky on our first night the teenagers next door spent the evening having a smoking and drinking (and swearing!) session which put an end to our relaxing evening! But this absolutely beyond the control of the host who was AMAZING. The pool was mildly heated so swimmable in cold weather and would be perfect in summer.

the scenery is outstanding. truly what we expect. i recomend Theres place to anyone who prefer enjoy and feel like the local. The house is very accomodating especially the kitchen very very complete. we felt very homey and love the place but the place only accessible by car i think. if you walk/using public transport this place will be quite a walk.

The property and views are very nice! It's a bit difficult to get there, but with Kurt's directions it works great! We were 11 adults and 2 children and had a very great time.

The vacation home was thought out in detail, just great. It has a beautiful, natural forest in the immediate vicinity which is enchanting. We would especially like to mention the landlord's preparation for our arrival. Goodies and towels for the dog and a tent for us. Simply lovely... always happy to come back

We read the previous reviews, saw the photos and chose Stephen’s house. Firstly the accommodation is a really good size. We had 4 adults using 3 b/rooms and there was plenty of space. It was really clean, tidy and we felt really at home. There was everything we needed, plus a supermarket round the corner and bar /restaurant were walking distance. 10/10👍The photos however don’t do justice to the wonderful views! Loved just looking over the lake to the snow capped mountains. Sitting outside was so tranquil. 10/10 because I can’t give 11/10 😁Excellent location for Rigi, Vitznau, Lucerne, Weggis, Stoos, Pilatus, Zug, all worth seeing. Rigi railway / Pilatus cable cars to the summit were our fave’s 10/10 🚠 We’d have stayed longer!🙁Stephen our host was great too. Excellent helpful information sent to us on arrival day. Were lucky enough to see him and got really helpful sightseeing advice. Communications were timely and helpful throughout our stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Beautiful view of the lake and the opposite shore towards Blumenberg. Not only the large garden and the diverse offer for outdoors (boats, SUPs, etc.) are ideal, but also the well-equipped kitchen. Excellent cleanliness throughout the house. The nearby highway was a small downside. Thanks to the top hosts Chantal and family for a pleasant stay in the lake villa.

We had a wonderful stay during the year change with our 3 dogs. We were able to unplug and had everything we imagined. The location is a dream!

Oh, the location! It overlooks lake Lucerne and is so so beautiful. Great area behind the house for barbecue or just a night under the sky. Nice additions to the house to make it more welcoming. They had a lot of board games, which was very thoughtful but we couldn't use them as they were in German. The host met us at check in and even gave a lot of local recommendations. Great place to stay for families.

Excellent hospitality at Silvia and Roland’s Airbnb. Place was clean, exactly how it was described and also decorated for Christmas! Silvia and Roland were also very responsive hosts. We had a minor issue that required a fuse to be switched and they drove out to our place on Christmas Eve and fixed it within 20 minutes! Great service.

The apartment of Heidi and her family is fantastic. Very lovingly furnished and due to the lots of wood totally quaint and cozy, you feel right at home. In the kitchen is everything you need, the bed in the bedroom is super comfortable, nothing is missing. We had a great weekend with a very warm family with friendly & agreeable farm dog.

100% recommended! From the very start, Dan, the host, was incredibly attentive and communicative. The apartment was perfect—clean, organized, and well-equipped. Just steps away, without needing a car, you’ll find bakeries, supermarkets, and restaurants. Plus, top attractions like Mount Pilatus and Lucerne are less than 30 minutes away. We’ll definitely consider returning someday! Thanks Dan!

Our stay at Nora's was excellent. The apartment keeps what it promises in the pictures. Nora is extremely friendly and provided us in advance with all the necessary information about the apartment and its use. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love, so you immediately felt comfortable. We will be happy to come back!

Nice beautiful place surrounded by mountains in Kriens close to Luzern. Good helpful host. Clean, spacious and well appointed apartment with all essential amenities in place. Value for money.

Heidi is a GREAT HOST! Our stay at her accommodation was great. She is warm, friendly and genuinely interested in her guests. Heidi gave us valuable tips about the area, even though I knew the area already well. We had nice conversations when we ran into each other around the house, but she also totally respected our privacy. The lower house was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was well equipped to prepare simple but good meals. The garden offered several seating areas, but we always chose the beautiful view of the mountains. Heidi was very attentive, like when she put an extra umbrella on the terrace on a hot day to keep it comfortable. She also sometimes surprised us with fresh figs and we were allowed to use herbs from her garden. The location is perfect: quiet, yet centrally located. Directly behind the house start beautiful hiking trails through the mountain meadows. We had a memorable time and will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!!

Ray's has an amazing special hostel and it's truly great to stay here! I stayed for only one night, but when I came in, I was instantly greeted and given a tour of the house which is very luxurious! It was great meeting the other people staying there and the view in the morning is truly amazing! I will definitely come back next time I stay in Switzerland!

It is our pleasure to stay three nights at Simon’s home. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains and garden. The home is very clean with excellent laundry facility . A wonderful place, with open people ! Simple equipement, but perfekt and clean. Possibility to change towels really cool ! The triangle bed is written small, but it was perfekt for two people (a big man and a short woman :)) Our host was really amical, nice, open and chill, sometimes a sweet dreamer, but just ask a second time if something is forgotten and there is no problem ;) A really wonderful week-end, thank you for the stay !! :D Stéphane + Jessica
