We live within a small estate that is surrounded by the beautiful country side that is also a part of a quaint little town of Cheadle and surrounded by other small towns consisting of boutique shops. You will be pleased to hear that we are surrounded by lots of local attractions such as, Alton towers, Churnet valley railway, Trentham gardens and lots more.

Get cosy in our quaint Hutty/cabin it has all you need for a romantic weekend or a base for a walking holiday, Situated very close to Alton Towers and the Peak district is just a short drive away, and also some very scenic walks. unfortunately i cannot host pets or children under the age of 14,the two beds are together and are single box beds,I'm sorry but at the moment there is no WiFi on the property

We have been here a while due to house renovations , Nothing but 1st class service . Always helpful Always responsive Very very clean. Lots of clean linen . Location is stunning , watching the wildlife especially the “Kites” are awesome at dusk . Peaceful surroundings . Local pub food very good . Lots of walking and a handy book to help you find your way . Highly recommended .

It’s my second time staying at Foxt Cottages in Froghall , this time with my mom and dad, and we absolutely loved everything about it. The cottage was charming, clean, and cozy – a real home away from home. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful countryside made it the perfect place to unwind and spend quality family time. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a lovely setting. I also recommend the willow cruise if you have time as high tea was just dreamy on the canal boat !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the bread milk and Prosecco left for us, and it was great that tea and coffee making facilities were all provided. The hot tub was a fantastic addition too. Communication was brilliant from Martin who replied within minutes. The only thing we struggled with was the driveway up to the cottage. It was incredibly tight, and where the neighbours had parked left us no room to turn around. We had to back the car down the driveway which took us about 15 minutes whilst trying not to scrape it against the walls either sides. We decided not to drive up again but there was no free parking outside the driveway unfortunately. But this was the only negative, everything else was perfect

Countryside Getaway near Alton Towers

Just got back from staying for the weekend with friends and we had such a great time we’re looking at dates to go back next year. Such a nice building done to a high standard and the surroundings are beautiful. We couldn’t hear any noise from Alton Towers even though it’s so close. The place is well stocked with everything you need and a little welcome gift was much appreciated. Communication was great and they even pre-warmed the hot tub (wood powered) for our arrival. Would recommend taking flip flops or similar for getting out of the hot tub. Thank you!
