Countryside cottage,1 bedroom in Forest of Dean.

Amazing place to stay! Clean, comfortable and quirky decor. The hot tub, bbq and egg chairs a luxury touch outside, and the views are truly magnificent. The bird feeder outside the bedroom allows you to relax in bed whilst watching the birds doing their thing, even had a wood pecker visit a few times. Highly recommend for a chilled break. I’d recommend arriving stocked with any food and drink you’ll need so you don’t have to leave!

Beautiful barn conversion/hot tub views

HelenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a fabulous short break in Humbug Barn. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Delicious meals waiting for us to cook upon arrival and fantastic hosts. We had a couple of minor issues that Amanda and Mark sorted straight away. Extremely friendly and very welcoming and the dogs were made to feel at home too. Thank you for making our stay really relaxing and we would definitely recommend. 5 stars for sure!

Romantic Idyllic Nuthatch Cottage with Hot Tub

RebekkaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

It’s really very easy to explore some superb walks and trails across the common and downs. Brockhampton Estate is well worth a visit too. Sarah is very friendly and it’s great to know she is next door without being intrusive. Loved it!

A beautiful hidden gem in the Cotswolds countryside! You can get more peaceful and relaxing than this! A lovely cake on arrival, clean fresh bedding and towels. Everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely little courtyard and dog friendly. We had an amazing 2 night stay for my birthday. Finding the games, Scrabble and connect four gave us a few giggles. Lovely walks around the area... I highly recommend this beautiful converted barn / mill house. It has everything you need from toiletries to blankets and fans if it's hot to logs if it's cold. We would be back in a heartbeat 💓 thank you Valerie & Marcus!

The cottage is in a perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds, especially if you have a car you will be able to visit many of the cozy villages in the area. Secret Garden in The Cotswolds

KristenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If I could give this place 20 stars and stay there forever I absolutely would. The photos are beautiful but being there in person is absolutely enchanting. The gardens, the decor, the outside dining area, and the little stream behind the garden…everything just felt like being in a storybook. Katrina has a great manual in the house that provides tons of local recommendations including sites, restaurants, walks, gardens, etc. we went to the Hidcote garden and the Barnsley Manor which were both a pleasant drive from Gloucestershire.

The Old Antique Shop Town Centre Stylish House

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very good communication from Steve, throughout the stay. Beautifully laid out apartment, fully equipped. Even a rolling pin if you wanted to make pastry (however I noted it was still in the plastic wrapper - so unlikely anyone has!! lol - m We can’t blame Steve for the weather and it felt cold at times - we were unable to adjust the heating. The large increasing flood of water at the front was a bit disconcerting in heavy rain but Steve assured me there were sandbags in the bin store!!!!! Stow is very central to all local attractions and as we were right on the main road finding our easy way was easy. Thank you Steve.

The Bothy Cottage

A delight in every way! The Bothy Cottage was even better than the photos. Warm, cozy, spacious and well appointed. The setting is beautiful - rural and surrounded by fields, trees and flowers, yet a short walk to the bustling village Stow-on-the-Wold, shopping and restaurants. Drives to gardens, villages & National Trust properties. Christine is the perfect host - extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. Will definitely return to this idyllic spot❣️
