Vacation rentals in Lower Marshes

A fantastic beach cottage that is highly recommended. Everyone talks about the views and the settings - and for very good reason. This is possibly one of the best located options in all of Tasmania. Primrose Sands is a stunning curved beach with benign waters, and the cottage is right on the beach. The cottage is very comfortable, and extremely well kitted out. The kitchen is excellent, with modern equipment, a well stocked pantry and lots of gadgets. The bedrooms comfortable, and we really appreciated the wood burner and the ready supply of logs. However, the allure is outside and we loved the access to sea kayaks which provided the highlight of our trip - watching a pod of dolphins cavorting around the kayaks. There are (well kept and good quality) life jackets - as well as fishing rods and toys for younger children. Port Arthur is an excellent day trip option from here, and we’d also recommend Bangor Vineyard for an outstanding lunch and vineyard tour. We hope to come back soon!

We loved our stay. It was a short drive to the sites on the Peninsula and the view from the house was stunning- I don't think the photos on Airbnb do it justice at all- waking up to that view is fantastic. The house was well equipped and we loved the heated outdoor alcove in the evening and the firepit. There are 2 well stocked IGAs within 5 mins drive.

Had a lovely relaxing stay, the house provides excellent facilities and space. Is a great location to explore the local area and surroundings. Thanks Annie

Elisabeth’s accommodation was just beautiful so clean and homely with plenty of space to spread out ..Loved the seperate sitting areas ..As we walked into the main kitchen living area all I could say was Wow ..it was all open plan and so tasteful decorated ..Just a couple of minutes to the beautiful Spring beach we loved a morning stroll then back there after lunch for lazing about and swimming …We returned late afternoon and got comfortable on the large deck at the rear of the home …The home had everything we needed for our 4 night stay could not be more comfortable…The large bathroom with the window shower was amazing and very private ..Our bedrooms were a great size very clean and comfortable ..We would definitely recommend Elisabeth’s accommodation we shall be returning for sure . Wow! What a hidden gem. Debbie’s inviting country cottage makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. She’s thought of everything from the fluffy robes to extra cosy blankets and even a vintage board game or two. Our family loved our stay here. We were also surprised when they offered a complimentary bottle of wine and Easter chocolate for the kids. There was a full container of milk provided, which I’ve never seen at any other Air BnB - so generous! If you’re headed to Maria Island for the day, Debbie’s place is less than a 7 minute walk to the ferry terminal. So much more relaxed than rushing to and from Hobart, we’d recommend staying here to take advantage of everything Maria Island and Triabunna has to offer.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway where you will relax then this is a wonderful spot. Loved the pademelons visiting us in the backyard. Has the amenities you would want and having the fireplace & outdoor fire pit ready to go was appreciated.

This was such a perfect spot! Lovely unobstructed views of the water, an outdoor jacuzzi and luxurious amenities. We loved the local birds and the peaceful vibes ☺️. It was also great having our two small pups with us. Thank you so much 😊
