Built in 1634, the Barn is on the edge of a village 5m from Market Harborough in Leicestershire. Converted in 2017, it's on our property but separate from it. Light and airy, it's one room/open plan downstairs, with areas for cooking, dining and relaxing. French doors lead out onto a pretty courtyard garden, with stone steps up to a raised area, where you can watch the sunset over the fields. Upstairs there's a well-equipped bedroom and bathroom with far reaching views over the countryside.

The Locke Inn - at the heart of historic Oundle.

This versatile renovated barn is self contained and adjacent to our Victorian home. Modern well equipped kitchen, spacious living room with additional double sofa bed if required. Free WiFi. Large open plan bedroom upstairs with double bed and two single beds available. Large bathroom/ wet room. You are right in the centre of historic market town of Oundle and a few metres away from beautiful walks along the River Nene. Oundle offers an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.

Otters Holt - Glamping Pod

A beautifully appointed glamping pod located amongst our topiary garden overlooking the pond and banks of the Willow Brook with views beyond, to the open countryside. The pod has its own decking with furniture, a bbq and fire pit with pizza oven to relax and unwind whist looking out for the kingfisher, heron, Mr and Mrs Mallard or maybe the two otters who live upstream. What we can promise are uninterrupted views, some great sunsets and a relaxed sense of wellbeing and peacefulness.

Fermyn Woods Country Park is a short walk away, rich in flowers birds and butterflies including Hawfinches and Purple Emperor Butterflies. The area has many gastro pubs, gardens and various markets to explore. We are happy to make recommendations to suit you as well as our favourite!
