I just absolutely loved Marilyn's place. I traveled solo, and this was perhaps the best solo Airbnb experience, although it would work for couples. I thoroughly thought that the home was adequately equipped with everything I needed, and it was a short uber away for all the key destinations I wanted to go as it was a very central location. I think what made staying at Marilyn's place was Marilyn herself. She is such a kind and endearing person, I booked a year in advance, and although my dates changed a bit. I decided to just stick with Marilyn just based on her great communication. She was always a short call away if I needed anything and would often say hi to her as I left. She is very personable, and I find that is more and more rare as AirBnB hosts commercialize properties.

Perfect little cottage in a fantastic location at Canungra.Easy walk to everything you need in town.Cottage was extremely clean and well appointed with all that we needed.Scott was a very responsive host and we found the cottage very easy to check in with good parking 😊

Laurie's space was very clean, spacious and had great amenities. The bed was very comfortable and nice linen and towels were provided. Laurie was very thoughtful and ensured our check in/out was very smooth. Finally, there were a few small touches (providing some bread, tea, chocolate etc) which made us feel very welcome and took the stress of going to the shops. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away at Mt Tamborine!

I can honestly say Wendy’s place is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed and we would recommend it to everyone. Stunning views from the mountain across to the ocean, gorgeous setting, fabulous accommodation and every single thing you could possibly need has been thought of right down to the picnic blanket and basket under the bed and the outdoor pizza oven in the gazebo overlooking the spectacular view. The accommodation is truly lovely - the photos don’t do it justice. It was divine to wake up to the view from the bed looking out to the ocean. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with everything you might want if you decide to cook for yourself. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this little slice of paradise and we would love to come back. Thanks Wendy!
