I absolutely loved our stay at Leigh’s place. I genuinely cannot recommend this spot enough if you’re needing to get away and just unwind. Beautiful surroundings, quiet, and just overall very peaceful. Leigh was such a great and accommodating host! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The setting was beautiful and the views were amazing! The space was perfect for us and our dog. We enjoyed local beer, ice cream and hikes based on Martha's recommendations.

This was a great stay for a peaceful, private weekend getaway! It was about 10 min drive to a few restaurants and breweries and hiking wasn’t too far either! Would definitely stay here again!

Blue Ridge Cabin

We had a wonderful time with friends at Candice's place. The pool and hot tub were such a nice touch. We decided to not go out and instead have a cookout on the charcoal grill on Saturday. We could not have enjoyed our time more. The place was spotless and extremely peaceful. Candice gave great suggestions and was responsive.

Entire Farmhouse Located on a Vineyard & Winery

What an amazing place to stay for our 20th anniversary! The beautiful scenery of the vineyard and horses by day and ability to come home and sit by the outdoor fire pit under the lights at night set the backdrop for a beautiful weekend shared with family to celebrate. Also a perk was the private wine tasting onsite at their new tasting room and being able to bring in a private chef for the night for our anniversary dinner. I rarely go back to a location since I love to travel but I would go back here!

Sleepy Fox Cottage

LanceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a great cottage to stay in for a weekend getaway with my partner. The space was cozy and had everything we needed: comfy bed, large TV, full size fridge, and kitchen supplies. We wound up buying groceries at food lion (one block away) so we only ate out once during our whole stay. Kitchen utensils included pots and a pan, dishes, a cooking hot plate with space for 2 pans, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. There is no microwave. I brought my own electric hot water kettle to make tea. All in all this was a comfy, great stay, accessible (no stairs), and there is even a Tesla ev charger for anyone that needs it. Highly recommend for 1-2 people for a nice weekend away.

We stayed at Kathryn’s place while in town for a wedding at the winery right down the road. The location could not have been more perfect. Kathryn’s place was clean, spacious, peaceful, and surrounded by beauty. Kathryn was proactive and great to work with. Would definitely stay again if I find myself back in the area!
