We really enjoyed our stay! The house was a little hard to find, but Anna was very helpful and walked us through it when we needed assistance. I highly recommend this property! Next time I will stay longer & explore.

Fishing pier setup was excellent ! Great area for crabbing, and nice fishing cleaning station setup, along with useful fishing rod holders. Bed mattresses were comfortable, and couch was comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in the Port Lavaca area.

Great place to make memories fishing. Lots of space to fish from. Perfect spot to see the Texas Sunset. The home was cozy and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place and come again.

It was a fantastic 2-night, 3-day getaway! The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The private pier allowed us to enjoy fishing late into the night without any disturbances. Communication was quick and efficient, making everything smooth and hassle-free. I feel very lucky to have stayed at Rene' and Illeen's ranch cottage for three days - a wonderful combination of thoughtful generous hosts and a delightful cottage. I enjoyed meeting and visiting with Rene' and Illene upon my arrival, and I realized later that our in-person meeting made it very easy for me to feel comfortable and entirely secure at the cottage. I knew that I could reach out if I needed anything, but Rene' and Illeen were also gracious in providing privacy and autonomy at the cottage. The cottage itself is lovely - spacious and light filled, furnished in a wonderful and fun combination of vintage finds and artful newer items, and generously supplied. Very relaxing spot. The covered porch that wraps around the cottage was a wonderful spot to sit - I headed out to the porch each morning with my coffee. I was in the area to visit with friends who live near Edna. But the cottage would also be a great destination.

We loved the location and the home! It was perfect for our family of four! We biked all around town and enjoyed fishing off the pier just steps from the house. Brittany provided local recommendations. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Palacious.

This home was an ideal destination for a spring break retreat, catering perfectly to both kids and adults. The fishing experience was outstanding! Children could enjoy a steady stream of small to medium fish throughout the day, while adults had an excellent opportunity to reel in a keeper. The house itself was incredibly comfortable, offering ample space and a range of amenities that ensured everyone had a fantastic time. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway!
