Venson’s Getaway is a beautiful house that was recently remodeled into a comfortable and cozy getaway. The house sits on 30 acres of peaceful and private land, and in its immediate surroundings it has a nice patio with a fire pit and three grills, and a beautiful heated swimming pool that was also recently finished. The area is surrounded by nature, including a creek that runs through the property! It is also located 30 minutes away from Charlottesville (famous Monticello's location!)

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

Our group consisted of 4 lifelong friends that do a Golf trip in the spring and the fall . The house was perfect. The Golf Not So Much 😁We grabbed some Steaks and cooked on the grill with some 70s music, have a few beers and laughed a lot ! The view was awesome !!! Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home … Hopefully we can reconnect next year , Mike

If you’re looking for the right place to host a large group, this is it. We had all our family and had plenty of room for 10+ people. This is such a fun home…pool, hot tub, pool table, and lot of fun games for all ages. The kayaks were a lot of fun! Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Daniel was incredibly responsive and made every step easy. We’ll return again for sure.

House, pool area, yard and neighborhood were all lovely! Lots of nice extras like kayaks, outdoor gas fire pit, ping pong, corn hole, kids toys, etc. that made staying in the home enjoyable for the whole family. I only wish I had known more about the lake access near the home prior to booking. While it was easy to launch kayaks close to the house, there was very little space to walk along the lake and really no swimming access.

The exterior of the house is showcased at dusk, featuring a stunning stone façade accentuated by large, illuminated windows. The circular turrets add architectural interest, while a spacious covered deck with a hot tub is visible. Lush greenery surrounds the property, enhancing the serene atmosphere.

The house was amazing- it was huge with more than enough for a family gathering. We loved all the amenities that we never had to leave the house as there was so much to do for both kids and adults.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coastal Cove! The house is absolutely stunning in both design and decor. We travel frequently, and I can honestly say this was the most comfortable and well-equipped vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that no detail had been overlooked. The house was stocked just like a true home—plenty of plush bath and hand towels, along with beach and pool towels. The kitchen had everything we needed, including spices, cooking oils, household cleaners, and even trash bags. Each full bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap at every sink. Daniel was a fantastic host—responsive, professional, and kind. It’s evident that a lot of care, planning, and resources went into making this home the perfect getaway. This really felt like a home away from home. We’ll definitely return some time soon! 😊
