Vacation rentals in Lough Salt

Wir waren für vier Tage die Gäste in Charles Unterkunft. Wir haben jeden Tag sehr genossen. Es ist ein wunderbar ruhiger Ort mit einer unfassbar schöne Aussicht. Wir hatten das große Glück von perfekten Wetter und saßen auch oft draußen. Charles ist großartig. Er brachte uns am Anreistag einen Begrüßungswein und erklärte uns alles. Aufgrund der sommerlichen Temperaturen brachte er uns auch noch einen Ventilator. Er ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist auch für Unternehmungen ideal. Gerne wieder. Wonderful! Laura and Ann were very welcoming! As we entered the house, it smelt amazing!! So clean and everything in its place. Plenty of bedding, plenty of cooking utensils… in fact plenty of everything, home from home! TV was a big hit with our 9year old and the back garden also, where we played. Not far from beaches, little drive away, not far from Dungloe town in a car. Lovely and quiet, which made the sleeps very relaxing! Definitely we will be back! Thank you Bren Tracey Killian

This property is in a peaceful location. I had previously had a friend and family member recommend this lodge. During Covid I stayed in another property Marie rents out. Being on holiday and catching Covid was made more bearable by Marie's husband regularly checking I was comfortable. I have enjoyed my stays at Marie's properties and was reluctant to leave behind the excellent interior decor of the lodge. The double bed was so cosy and comfortable. If you want to relax and chill out this is the place to stay in Dungloe. Hotels, restaurants and shopping are within a mile's distance. Outdoor activities can be arranged by Marie. The lodge is convenient for visiting surrounding attractions in County Donegal. Don't miss a visit to Wild Ireland"s Animal Sanctuary, The River Walk in Dungloe holds some surprising spots to enjoy. Who could resist waking up to the lakeside views of Marie's gorgeous lodge? Not me. Book now before the diary is full.

We spent two months in this wonderful cottage while awaiting our move to our new home. Sean was an incredible host who was so helpful, welcoming and kind. We fell in love with the cottage! It was just perfect for us. Beautiful decor that was just to our taste. We never got tired of the view of the bay which provided hours of walks and entertainment. The area is peaceful and really lovely. We love to cook and the kitchen was very well equipped. Also, a wonderful library of famous Irish authors! What a bonus! I was able to read 4 great novels during our stay! This cottage is a perfect escape but is close to Dungloe, shops and amenities. We spent many days discovering the gorgeous beaches in the area. We will never forget our time at this wonderful Airbnb and we will definitely be back. Sean and his lovely cottage provided a perfect introduction to our new life in Ireland. Thank you so much for making our first months here so memorable! Just perfect!

What a wonderful, comfortable, warm and clean house with a beautiful view. It was so tranquil and peaceful looking out at the amazing view. House is very tastefully decorated with everything there that is needed. The hot tub is a brilliant addition, loved it. Laura is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend this place.

Carmel ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und stellt neben dem super eingerichteten Appartement selbst gebackene Kekse und Soda Brot sowie Butter, Milch, Kaffee, Tee, Marmelade und Eier zur Verfügung. Lage ist super als Ausgangspunkt für die Klippen und um den County Donegal zu erkunden. Jederzeit wieder und wir empfehlen das Appartement auf jeden Fall weiter.

Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.
