A dream holiday home! What a view to wake up to. And the space is wild, so many birds (they’ll wake you up!), and we saw a fox, monkeys, many butterflies and more. The lake is gorgeous, we took the kayaks and paddle boards and it was a great experience. The stars at night are so beautiful - make sure to check out the rooftop! We used the kitchen and all essentials were there, it’s well equipped. Everything is as described, just note that the fourth bedroom is really really small (we didn’t use it).

wunderschönes Haus am ruhigen Teil der Lagune gelegen, wenig Touristen, keine Jetskis. Wir haben die Gäste aus dem Fronthaus nicht gehört. Paula und Dan sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Tiere sind zutraulich, besonders die dicke Katze. Alles ist auf Nachhaltigkeit ausgelegt, es gibt sogar abbaubares Shampoo+ Duschgel. Der Nachbar bietet Katamarantouren an, unbedingt machen :) Haben selbst auf dem Wasser keine anderen Touristen getroffen, da sich scheinbar alles um Bacalar herum tummelt. Sind aber auch mit dem Kayak weit gekommen. In der Nähe gibt es ein Hotelrestaurant, was für uns praktisch war, da wir keinen Mietwagen hatten. Von dort gibt es scheinbar auch günstigere Transporte nach Bacalar als mit dem Taxi (300 pesos). Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt eine Bialetti für Kaffee :) Wir würden wieder hier übernachten.

Ediel y su esposa fueron muy atentos, nos permitieron dejar el equipaje antes del check in. El lugar es muy hermoso . Desde que llegas sientes paz, tranquilidad . Fue muy relajante estar en una cabaña al pie de la laguna . También debo resaltar lo impresionante que es el entorno, el paisaje es muy hermoso . Espero volver y lograr poder quedarme más días para volver a disfrutar esa gran experiencia. Se los recomiendo 10/10.

La casa es sumamente cómoda una zona tranquila y alejada , es fácil salir y encontrar taxi , o Ana la sra qué cuida la casa te apoya buscando alguna unidad, a nosotros nos apoyó para ir a farmacia ella en su moto 🏍 le agradecemos mucho el gesto. La vista a la laguna es impresionante ver el 🌅 amanecer incluso el atardecer es una paz inigualable. agradecemos los chalecos salva vidas porque yo no se nadar y eso me dio seguridad es una zona profunda y con mucha piedra, pero vale la pena . procura llevar lo indispensable para cocinar si tu plan es no salir , porque no hay nada cerca .

Un lugar increíble para admirar la naturaleza, ver el amanecer, un cielo impresionante de noche, excelente elección para relajarse. El paseo en kayak con vistas preciosas. Muy cerca al pueblito con comida deliciosa y de precio muy accesible. ¡Definitivamente queremos regresar!

This is a peace of paradise in Bacalar! We have been in the “palapa” with our two young kids and everything was perfect. The location is completely beautiful. Plenty of colourful flowers, the lagoon right in front. The birds in morning. Haven! Marissa is a perfect guest, she has the best devises of Bacalar. Follow her! We were sad to leave! Can’t wait to come back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay — the place is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for disconnecting. It’s surrounded by nature, which makes it ideal if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing escape. A couple of things to keep in mind: having a car is definitely recommended, as the property is about 30 minutes from downtown Bacalar. Getting around without transportation could be a bit difficult. Also, the house has an open-space design — there are no doors or fully enclosed rooms — so sound travels easily, and you’ll likely hear everything going on in other areas. Just something to consider if you’re sensitive to noise or traveling with a group. That said, the service was excellent. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed us to leave our luggage well before check-in and even gave us wristbands to access a nearby balneario, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We’d definitely stay again!

Amazing stay, with amazing hosts, and amazing staff. We had a wonderful time and felt like we had everything we needed right there at the spot. Amazing meals, amazing massage, and an amazing kayak trip across the lagoon! Hoping to return!

Es la segunda ocasión en la que me alojo en esta cada y siempre se disfruta por todas las comodidades que ofrece , además del entorno que es fantástico. La comunicación con el dueño es muy buena y amable, y aun mejor el trato del señor Valentino, que es la persona que nos recibió y se encargó de nosotros a la llegada y en todo momento. Finalmente, recomendaría dar mantenimiento al muelle para que sea aún más fantástica la propiedad.

wunderschön stilvoll eingerichte wohnung mit privatem pool und bester aussicht auf den see und den wald. liegestühle und hängematten direkt am see, der gleich neben dem haus ist. kanus und standup paddel zur freien nutzung. ds dorf ist in 10 min erreichbar. wir wären gerne länger geblieben. es war paradiesisch.

Nuestra estancia fué de 10, todo limpio, con lo necesario para varios días de estancia. La zona de alberca muy linda y limpia. La casa cuenta con mosquiteros, clima, ventiladores, lo que es muy bueno por el clima exterior. Desde la entrada el recibimiento es amable y cordial, atentos a nuestras necesidades sin invadir nuestra privacidad. No solo nos reabastecieron un garrafón de agua, también nos lo colocaron. Cuentan con lo básico en una mini tienda dentro del fraccionamiento, los otros huéspedes respetaban horarios de uso de alberca y música No alto el volumen. El camino para llegar es angosto pero en buen estado, tienen camaras de vigilancia, así que al acercarnos con el auto, la apertura del portón era inmediata. en lo personal no nos hizo falta Nada. Gracias, volveremos. Ah, el Club de Playa muy tranquilo y buen servicio.

La estancia fue increíble, una casa muy bonita, muy limpia mi familia y yo la pasamos genial además el personal que nos dio la bienvenida fue muy amable, nos sentimos como en casa, además la casa está muy bien equipada para que no te falte nada, la zona muy tranquila y muy bonita. Además el club de playa está bellísima tiene una vista muy bella. Recomiendo ampliamente se hospedan aquí. Katy y Petra siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte en lo que necesites. Volveremos sin duda.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Teresa’s home! Check in was flexible as we were delayed in Tulum. Teresa’s instructions were always super clear and so we didn’t have any issue finding the house at sunset, also there is a hotel next door with a restaurant in case you miss the supermarket! The house is about 10 minutes away from Bacalar town, it has a perfect view of the lagoon and everything you can need inside. The lagoon is super private as most boat trips are over on the other side of the town also. We absolutely loved being there and surrounded by nature, I would very much recommend the house!
