House vacation rentals in Los Barriles

We had a great stay at Los Cerritos! Our condo was at the end of the row and quiet & private. Nice walk to the beach, stayed nice and cool during the day! The kitchen was very small but we made it work! The pool & pizza place were great! Pizza was 5 stars! My kiddos loved the pool & the local cats!

What an amazing experience staying at Casa del Destino! Alisha was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make this stay memorable. House manager, Erick, coordinated ATVs, horse back riding, private chef at house and had wonderful recommendations for dining and areas to visit! Highlights of the trip from our group included the pristine house, pool, hot tub, and all the gathering areas (our own 5 star resort), beach with snorkeling, private chef, la playa restaurant on Monday for live salsa on the beach, La Terraza, Tres Palpas for pickleball, and Atv ride to waterfall! Alisha and Erick made my husband's 50th special with cake and wine. Wish we could have stayed longer but will be back !

This is a great house with bathrooms in each bedroom giving a lot of privacy. It was extremely well stocked kitchen, towels, beach chairs, etc. It was perfectly clean and maintained. Also a great location that is close walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Spring of 2025 there is heavy construction noise in the lot directly behind the pool. Otherwise it was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. I recommend this place and would gladly stay there again.

Had a great stay. Home was as advertised

Excellent place! Very peaceful, quiet, and secure. Beautiful and well-equipped areas. Perfect for families and friends. It offers all the comforts of home and is conveniently located near shops and restaurants, yet still feels very private.

The setting of the house is gorgeous. The house was ideal for us in that we were looking for a beachfront location in a beautiful and fairly undeveloped area. The layout of the house worked great for our group in that the bedrooms are well separated. The house is also very spacious. There were some issues with the pool and hot tub temperature but the owner provided us with an adequate refund for the difficulties. As other reviews described, some things about the house are dated but the positives of the house far outweigh the negatives. it was a splendid location and terrific home from which to enjoy the East Cape.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with this beautiful casita! I'd say the best experience we've ever had with Airbnb. Deane welcomed us and showed us around the casita. The furningings beautiful. The rain shower, amazing! The beautiful and well appointed kitchen were a pleasure to be in. But the bed... a king size that was like a cloud to sleep in, yes really! And Deane was so kind to bring us a movable umbrella to allow for being in our pool while shielded from the sun. We had.a wonderful vacation.

Amazing location! We loved sitting on the patio at night? Listening to the rays jumping out of the water and landing with a ‘slap’. Loved the fact that the yard is fenced. We have little kids and they could roam freely without us worrying about them straying too far. Close enough to walk to downtown if you really wanted to, but we chose to drive - just easier with the kids. A great added bonus is the kayaks, I loved being able to paddle out whenever I wanted, right in front of the house

The house is located in a quiet neighbour hood and with a fairly quick access to Los Barriles center in a couple minutes by car. The king size bed was very comfortable (if you like firm), and the house was kept in very clean and well functioning condition. So overall the place was great and our host was very responsive. We would come back again!

The house is lovely and was perfect for us. We loved the outdoor area and the sound of the waterfall at the pool. The dogs didn’t bother us. We slept well in the air conditioned bedrooms. The hosts were very responsive and helped us with anything we needed.

Sandi and Milton were the most gracious hosts. Anything we needed during our stay was taken care of immediately and they were very accommodating. This was by far the best appointed rental kitchen I've ever been in and everything was excellent quality. It made cooking very easy. The linens and towels were plush and the beds comfortable The location was perfect, especially if you're going to Tres Palapas for pickleball. The sunrise and sunset were stunning from the rooftop. The pool was clean and refreshing. We grilled in the outdoor kitchen and the hosts made a fire. So relaxing and easy to feel right at home. We'll be back! A home away from home.

What a wonderful view! This is a really neat place with tons of personality and style. It was a treat to get to use such a well-equipped kitchen, too! We’d be happy to stay here again.

A home with incredible energy and vibes

Love punta pescadero, a little extra effort to get to, but worth it. Great snorkeling, beach, and palapa. The view is incredible and one of the best stocked airbnbs I have visited including snorkeling equipment and kayaks. The place was spacious and air conditioning worked great. One extra I enjoyed was the lower terrace for sunsets and star gazing. Jim is super responsive and helpful and was there to greet us upon arrival.

This place was nothing short of amazing. It would be hard to imagine staying elsewhere in Los Barriles. The solitude, view of ocean and town below (saw the full moon rise over ocean!) was top notch. That patio! We spent a day hiking down the mountain to the beach and into town. Fabulous. If you aren't down for a true adventure getting there or want to be right in town, you might want to find another spot and that would be kind of lame.

The outdoor space was very inviting and relaxing! Loved having our own private pool and roof top deck. The location was also great, an easy walk to the beach and close to many restaurants. Thank you Shaina for helping us get a catered dinner. Having our family over for dinner on the roof top deck for a delicious taco night was a highlight of our vacation.

Where to start..? Hilarie's home is an actual owner's home. This means her house feels alive unlike many homes in the area which are only dedicated to AirBnBs (and thus often sterile). The kitchen is extremely well equipped! How refreshing (for someone who likes to cook). The Living Room area opens right on the external shaded patio. Thus it felt natural to poor ourselves a coffee and step outside while the sun is not so strong.. Both bedrooms are spacious with LOTS of clothing storage. This is also something we appreciated. We did not have to see our luggage throughout the stay nor have them open all the time. Beds are REALLY confortable. I am rather on the athletic/heavy side and my wife was pregnant. We can thus attest of the beds' confort... ^^ Finally, the rooftop had excellent views on the ocean and its sunset. We did not use it so much since we were mostly at the beach during sunsets. Hilarie, again, thank you for your hospitality! PS: your neighbour is the nicest guy!

Punta Coral was wonderful! We brought our family down before Christmas and had more than enough space and everything we needed for our stay. The pictures don't really do the property justice. The place is huge and situated on the coast such that the views are everywhere. Beautiful and eclectic property!

Wonderful Location everything we were looking for such a special Gem!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Alvarado! The location is stunningly beautiful. It is more remote, and not located in town. But that was fine for us because the whole experience felt very private. Additionally Heidi’s team were amazing at hosting and ensuring we had everything we could need. Would definitely go back!

We were very comfortable in Harry's house and he communicated with us very quickly. The bed is comfortable, the premises clean and we really enjoyed watching the colorful birds from the outside dining area.

We stayed for 3 weeks with our son and had a great time! We loved the pool (and the hot tub on chillier mornings/evenings) and the beautiful view over the basil fields. The house was just like the photos and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jon was super responsive to all our questions/requests. And we loved his sweet dog! We would definitely recommend staying and hope to return in the future.

The place is beautiful, just a block from the beach, for several days we could see mantarays jumping above water, which was magnificent. Cecilia was super responsive and very hospitable. The firepit is wonderful and we were happy to cook there. The house has all the necessary things to cook there and plenty of space. The pool is beautiful. The location is quiet and there's a small store close by to get very basic things. Do the grocery shopping before arriving and don't trust the internet connection very much as it is choppy and not very reliable. We had a wonderful time and would return any time.

We really enjoyed 13 nights at Las Bouganvillas during the windy season. I knew the area fairly well and recognized it as a quiet, safe neighborhood with mostly year-round residents. Location is not "downtown" Los Barriles and we liked that. There are a few great food spots and a tienda nearby. Check out Los Bowlrilles, the gringo food cart, and Loncheria Los Cuates for lunch. There's also a bar called Patti's off one of the side roads in the neighborhood...I'll let you find that on your own. Rebecca is a fantastic host. Very kind and responsive, and she had some great recommendations. We enjoyed coming back to our casita after day trips in the area. The pool was nicely sheltered from the wind and had great afternoon sun. We grilled some great meals on the roof.
