House vacation rentals in Lorne

We spent a long weekend at Jennie’s house and would highly recommend. It rained the entire weekend so we weren’t able to make use of the top north facing deck or the lower pool deck but we lit the fire, settled in and had such a relaxing time. There is a really good coffee machine which meant we didn’t even have to venture out for coffee! We loved it on a wet winter weekend so I can only imagine how great it would be on a warm sunny weekend.

This property is the best holiday house I have ever been into in Australia. Top notched, meticulous design, warm and high end house.

Beautiful house to stay at! We all had the best time and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Heaps of room for the kids to run around and burn their energy. Great place to stay for a family holiday we had 11 of us in the house and we al had our own space and heaps of room to have dinner and watch movies all together.

A very comfortable and well presented home great facilities and a nice new and comfortable clean and plenty of natural light.

We couldn’t be happier with our time at this home. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and had everything you need. The home was so convenient to the shops, a short stroll away. We stayed in April and the surrounds were very quiet and peaceful.

this house was amazing for our three active families! there was a pool, table tennis, futsal, air hockey and then in the extended back yard a play ground, sand pit, cricket pitch, soccer, footy, tennis and an aquatic centre. A short drive we had the beach! too much to do and too little time. The loving and dining spaces were top notch. We loved this house!

If you’re looking for a house to relax and unwind, this could be the one for you! The house was warm and homily, and delivered some amazing sunrises / sunset views, all whilst relaxing in the spacious upstairs lounge. The house was clean throughout, and large enough to accommodate our group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Peggy is a great host, super responsive and even provided some complimentary wine to welcome us. Cheers to that!

Stunning and peaceful place

The place was beautiful. It was a quiet residential street. Being able to hear the kookaburras and birds was a treat and you can even hear the sounds of the waves in the evening. Everything was amazing ! There were a few little items missing and a concern with a very loud dripping noise after a sudden downpour at night. I notified the owners and I am sure they will look into it. My only criticism is that the upstairs shower is TINY! You literally could not move / it has a weird corner seat in it - I have been in small showers before over the years but you could not move in this one ! This tops it off as the tiniest shower ! . A large person would have trouble ! Be warned of the very steep hill walking back home - but it is doable ! We only had a few complaints from the teenagers. Was definitely good exercise each day ! We will definitely be back !

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property ! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire space felt peaceful and private. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Clear instructions were provided for check-in/check-out, and they even left a lovely welcome note and a few local treats, which was such a kind gesture. The location was perfect — quiet and safe I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Nicks place was one word: phenomenal. Not only were the team absolutely amazing and helpful, but we went there and felt like it was our own. The home is as seen in photos, above the ocean in the sky. Surrounded by trees and beautiful nature. The walkway into the Airbnb was made to perfection. The team put a lot of effort in to every corner of that place. We even had a wonderful 90 minute massage done overlooking the ocean! As a female, to see an original GHD straightener for their guests blew my mind. The candles by the bath - the welcoming fairy lights. It’s the small things that made this place better than what i expected. The ocean, the home, the host. 100/10. Highly recommended to all and definitely will return.

I booked Nick’s place for a restorative weekend away with a group of girlfriends and would highly recommend it. The house is absolutely beautiful, tasteful furnishings, well appointed kitchen and pantry and well stocked with beautiful towels and linens. The view is stunning. We really appreciated the welcome touches and the fire ready to be lit! Nick was responsive and attentive without being intrusive. Thank you Nick and Lisa!

Autumn special in Anglesea. Our extended family was easily accommodated in this spacious home. Heating was very efficient which was very much appreciated as the weather had turned a bit cooler (and wet) beds were cosy and comfy. Location was great, easy walking distance to the beach and cafe, close drive to a vast selection of ‘spoilt for choice’ dining options. David provided valuable recommendations and a thoughtful selection of food staples. Communication with David was timely and efficient, a later check out was very much appreciated to enjoy the area and amenity just that little bit longer.

Quiet location. Close to beach. Modern property with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Balconies. Foxtel. Recommended stay.

We loved our stay in Anglesea! Zara is a friendly, quick to reply and proactive host. Situated in a beautiful quiet, leafy street, short drive to main shops/beach. The house is cosy and the fire a good addition for a cold weekend. Beautiful clean bed linen and towels. If bringing babies in winter would suggest BYO oil heater/portable heaters for bedrooms, this was perfect and pre discussed with Zara. Would recommend and return! Thanks Zara :)

Beautiful property that was warm and welcoming from the get go, and felt like home every time you walked through the doors. Everything was clean, well thought out and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay plus some. Cannot recommend Lisa and Matt’s place enough and look forward to staying here again.

Fantastic homely and cosy place, wonderful views and superb location so close to Fairhaven and Moggs Creek beaches. Also close to nearby amenities at Aireys Inlet, the pub and general store are winners! Coffee at Mr T and Me also really good. Had a restful and relaxing time, drinking tea and watching the ocean from the deck or chilling in front of the rotating log burner in the lounge room, and watching the local birds drop by, even had a visit from a couple of Roos!
