Little Nook is the separate detached barn annexe adjacent to our home, Three Nooks. In the distant past it used to be a chicken shed. There are no neighbours save for a herd of cows and is a very peaceful, private place. Towards the rear is a hot tub, a small seating area and arbour with benches and a table. There are wonderful uninterrupted views across the fields from the balcony and a view down the driveway through the round window. Peace and quiet reign. SkySports, box sets and Netflix.

We loved our stay at The Hivehaus. Tucked away in the Lancashire countryside, it’s peaceful, quirky, and full of charm. The design is eclectic and welcoming, with everything you need—tea, coffee, milk, pastries, and even a bottle of wine on arrival. Essentials like washing up liquid, toilet roll, and kitchen roll were all provided, plus loads of crockery and cutlery. Ed and Barry are fantastic hosts—kind, helpful, and respectful of your space. They also have two lovely, spirited dogs. We adored them, but if you're not a dog person, just let Ed know and she’ll keep them out of the way. The views from the top of the garden are beautiful and well worth the short walk. If you're after peace, comfort, and great hospitality, this place is for you. We can’t wait to go back—The Hivehaus is something really special.

What a Gem! We finished our minimoon tour of the north in this accommodation and it was stunning! Very peaceful- good walks but the weather wasn’t on our side sadly! We made up for it with a few games of pool and some sauna time. Ian and Gill were superb hosts and nothing was too much! They allowed us a space for our dog to fun around and even threw (or batted) the tennis ball around for her! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Ian and Gill, the place was super clean and well laid out! Will definitely book again if we are ever up that part of the country again! Thank you so much!

Patrick's property is absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean, the bedroom is spacious and well maintained, bed very comfortable, and the property is literally a 5 minute walk from a big supermarket and a whole series of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and convenience stores. I was welcomed into a friendly environment and given plenty of information about the area, would highly recommend.
