We spent 3 nights over Easter weekend and despite the weather we had a fantastic weekend. The apartment felt like home… so warm and comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed including a nice bottle of wine and some Easter eggs for the kids. Karen was beyond generous and very flexible with our arrival time. Brilliant location… walking distance from everywhere with lots to do in the area and Lough Key Forest park 10 minutes away. Would highly recommend for break away. We will definitely be back.

clean, tidy , good apartment

My family of 5 can’t say enough great things about our stay here! The place was really cute, comfortable and most importantly CLEAN. The rooftop balcony was really nice for having morning coffee outdoors. Rosemary had a few breakfast items ready for our arrival. The bonus for us was her restaurant/bar. The food was incredible and the drinks were just as lovely. We were welcomed and shown unbelievable small town Irish hospitality from the staff and locals. We felt right at home. It was an ideal location for our last 3 nights in Ireland!

Enjoyed our stay .. great for a few nights. Accommodation was very clean and spacious. Great location as Sligo town(just 10 minutes away) , Strandhill beach and Mullaghmore coastline are all within 25 minute drive . Lovely village just 2 minute walk away. Host was also very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Kevin is a good host. My stay was shorter than planned and Kevin made my arrival and early departure easy. The property is in a great location and a very comfortable house. In a quiet peaceful area perfect for restoring inner peace . Thanks Kevin for my stay at your lovely property.

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay at Mary and Ray's home. Each of our 4 rooms had an ensuite bathroom, and the home was equipped with heated floors on the lower level, as well as a wood stove, gas fireplace, and dimmable lights for a cozy evening ambiance. The home has many personal touches like motion sensor night lights in the entrance, staircase, and bedrooms, as well as a display of various family members' drawings and paintings. The view of the lake is amazing. There are many lovely restaurants in the area, including a reservation-only prix-fixe restaurant serving venison and partridge. This is a European home, and we were surprised to see a few added luxuries like a few screened windows as well as a tumble dryer (to soften line-dried clothes). Mary and Ray were incredibly responsive and hospitable to us throughout our stay.

Aoife & Shirley were fantastic hosts. We had booked their property travelling with work. Last minute booking and accommodating us was no problem. Made our guys feel so welcome and well looked after. Amazing property and hosts were a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely book if in the area again. Thank you so much!!

Breda was lovely and helpful. Our kids loved the use of lake and canoe, down every evening. Would definitely stay here again if going down, lovely big spacious house.

We had an amazing stay at Caroline and Patrick's! Even though the weather wasn't great, there was so much for us and the kids to do! The pool was fantastic, basketball, tennis, etc- something for all of us. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. The bed linen was so soft and the mattresses very comfortable. The indoor fire was also very special. We were so grateful for our stay, and can't wait to visit again! Simply can't recommend enough!

Gorgeous house and location! Host was lovely, very responsive. Renting the boat for the day was brilliant and so easy. Marc who helped with the boat was great and extremely helpful. Will definitely be back.

Adam's property is in a fantastic location with a beautiful and soothing view over the lake below. A gated estate makes it so peaceful and private. All the amenities in the house that we needed were present and they were of a high standard. We found the property warm and comfortable, and we stayed in winter so that was great. The instructions to the property and how to enter were clear and easy to follow. Adam was very responsive and quick when we asked questions and provided all the information we asked for. He was flexible with our arrival and leaving times which really helped our logistics. We would definitely recommend the property and if we are looking for somewhere in this area again this would be top of our list. Watching the the sun come up on a frosty morning was so lovely!!.

Honestly one of the best places we've ever stayed. The pictures couldn't do it justice. Lisa has made the place so welcoming and homey, the grounds/surroundings are beautiful and the house is wonderfully designed (the dual aspect living room is gorgeous). Lisa left lots of information along with a welcome basket and answered any questions quickly. We'd definitely go back.

What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

We had the best experience at Susan’s place. The exceptional hospitality, elegant rooms and safe and secure environment made our trip truly memorable. Susan’s customer service was second to none, very friendly and welcoming. Susan is very personable and professional and explained everything clearly as regards heating, electrics etc. The apartment is outstanding, exceeding all our expectations. The ambiance was so inviting and comfortable and the views were stunning. Susan really cares about her guests and this is clear from the moment you enter her apartment. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. This is a beautiful place, with a great location, within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. I have no hesitation in recommending Susan’s apartment and would love to visit again.

We loved our stay the location is great you can easily walk to downtown Carrick and the pier is right across the street. The WiFi was reliable and fast and Chris was accommodating to our needs traveling with a baby. We noticed the bedroom near the street was a little noisy at times but it wasn’t a big deal. There is a little market downstairs that was great for grocery runs. We also loved driving 15 minutes to Lough Key park and Boyle Abby.

This is a lovely little apartment. spotlessly clean & tidy. Lovely bathroom. We had a very enjoyable stay. Great location in the town right on the canal cycleway. Daingean is lovely town friendly locals lots to do around. Our son really enjoyed the lovely playground on the opposite side of the canal. The kitchen was a little smaller than we thought but we manged to to cook 2 meals there.

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay
