Trinity Island Lodge - your own private island

GeraldineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I recently stayed in Trinity Lodge with my husband, four teenage boys and our five dogs. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. The lodge is in a beautiful rural setting. The views are breath-taking. The Lodge is well equipped and really very cosy. Between the sauna, the games room and the boats, the boys didn't complain once about being bored! We walked the paws off the dogs, who enjoyed the freedom as much as we did. Geraldine was always contactable and very kindly allowed us to check out late as there were no guests arriving the day we departed. I can't recommend Trinity Lodge enough. Definitely a nature lovers paradise.
The exterior of Heron’s Lodge is highlighted, showcasing a charming two-story structure with a classic design. Large glass doors and numerous windows allow light to fill the interior. A tranquil pond reflects the building, surrounded by lush greenery and well-maintained grounds.

7 Bedroom Lakeside Lodge, Roscommon. 4 STAR ☘️☘️☘️☘️

ConnorRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Check in was very easy with the host being on site allowing us to gain entry as soon as we arrived. House was exactly as described and in immaculate condition with a beautiful outdoor garden and surrounding areas. There was also a little games cupboard that we all made use of as the weather was lovely to be outside (even though we’re all in our 30s/40s we turned into big kids when we found this). Host even went beyond their responsibilities and aided us with travel options and even took members of our group to the wedding location. I have stayed in many AirBnBs as a group and as an individual for both work & leisure and can categorically say this has been the best stay I’ve had through the app. Will look to book this again for a weekend away and without any events so we can enjoy the house to its full worth! Thank you to both John & Jody for being incredible hosts and if you are looking to stay in the area this would be the house to choose!
A serene riverbank scene features lush greenery and gentle water reflections. A stone structure, partially covered in ivy, stands beside a grassy area adorned with small white flowers. Nearby, a wooden railing provides a vantage point overlooking the calm river and surrounding trees.

Huath

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay! The property was spacious both inside and out. Plenty of room for our kids and our dog to roam safety. Its very peaceful but still close to everything, only about 10km into carrick on shannon. House was spotless, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. Mairead left us a lovely welcome pack that was so thoughtful. Wifi was fast so kids were happy as no tv which honestly wouldn't have even be needed. I highly recommend this place for families, pet owners or anyone looking for a easy relaxing getaway. The host Mairead was so easy to communicate with. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again.

Fabulous, spacious home. Very large kitchen with cosy Aga, dining, living space with direct views of the lake. 4 newly carpeted bedrooms, all ensuite with additional cloakroom as well. Very much a family space with lots of room for larger groups. Amazing selection of DVDs and books. Lovely and quiet at the end of a narrow lane; no passing traffic. Its a great spot and located just perfect. Quiet and comfortable and great for walks in the area. Coming up the driveway to the house shows how much the premises are looked after. The pond, the garden, the grass... Just perfect and so nice. We pay great respect that this house is pet friendly as we had our dog with which was no problem at all. The town itself is just 5 minutes drive away and offers everything you need. We would recommend this house any time.

Idyllic Irish hideaway 10 miles from Sligo

TinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Conor’s place was a wonderful place to stay. Close to so many beautiful places to hike. Dromahair itself is a very small village with 2 pubs, 1 restaurant and a grocery store. They are all walkable from the house which was very convenient. Conor recommended several walks which we did, which were very nice. We had issues with the hot water the first morning , and when I brought it to Conor’s attention, he resolved it immediately. Great host, very communicative. Would highly recommend this place.

Live Like Lords & Ladies At Our Country Estate

TimRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What a beautiful location and place to stay! We slept wonderfully in this peaceful country retreat. The location is about 1/2way between Dublin and Kylemore Abbey, we used it as a stopover on our way towards Dublin after Kylemore. The value would be really great for a large party, for us there were only 5 so we didn’t even use all the rooms (the kids wanted to sleep together, they were excited for the bunk beds). We wandered around the estate a little and even took a stroll around the Friary ruins in town. There is a playground at the entrance to the estate area that the kids loved. We had a great time with the fire pit in the outside area behind the place. It is a renovated old building so it did have some problems, and our impression was that the hosts are new to this process, but what they lacked in experience they made up for in enthusiasm. Rowan was VERY responsive, and tried his best to resolve any issues quickly. We would stay here again.
A serene view from a cabin balcony overlooks a lush landscape dotted with trees, showcasing autumn colors. The foreground features a wooden railing, while beyond it, the river meanders through the greenery, reflecting the cloudy sky, creating a peaceful natural setting.
