In winter the resort will also delight you if you are looking for a family friendly ski place. Metabief is 15 minutes from the Swiss border.

Situé au coeur du parc naturel du Haut Jura et de la région des lacs, à 820 M d’altitude, le chalet est un havre de paix. Le Lac d’Etival à 1,5KM, commerces à 9KM( Clairvaux les Lacs), pistes de ski de fond à 6KM, pistes ski de descente à 30 minutes en voiture. Nombreuses balades ou VTT à faire depuis le chalet. Autres activités sports nautiques, équitation, accrobranche,raquettes, luge tout dans un rayon de 15KM.

It is located on the route of very nice hiking trails, 10 minutes from the best cross-country skiing sites in France. 1 hour from Geneva, 10 minutes from the beach of Lake Lamoura.

Chalet "La Cabane"

Small chalet by a private pond ideal for couples with or without children in which you can have a good time and fish (free because there are a lot of water lilies in the flowering period). On the ground floor, a living room with fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with toilet and shower. "Côté Lacs" welcomes you near the Cascades du Hérisson, in a warm and cozy wooden house, in the heart of the lakes region renamed "Little Scotland" to recharge your batteries with family or friends. In the middle of a natural site of 7 mid-mountain lakes, we put this larch and tree framework to discover this little piece of paradise. We marinated and renovated wooden furniture from the family attic to make this interior warm.
