Luxurious First floor flat in Dornoch New Build

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow, what a luxurious pad! Yes, the accomodation looks like a newish build but very tastefully decorated and so comfy. Hosts were superb and Dornoch was a pleasant surprise. Great to watch the cows and sheep graze from the upstairs picture windows. One of THE BEST airbnb's we have stayed in. Highly recommended.

Struie Bothy near Dornoch Beach

PaulRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The description was as advertised and communication very easy with our host. Very central location for a short walk to town and beach access. Well sorted kitchen and everything in the house was spotless, comfortable bed, great hot shower with quality bath towels. We only spent two nights in this bungalow which was all we needed on our tight schedule, but could have extended our stay if possible. Thumbs up on recommending this accommodation.

Coulview Cottage

Fabulous cottage a short walk from a pristine beach . Everything was spotlessly clean at the cottage, lovely garden which suited the dogs. The cottage has everything you would need, and the wonderful weather meant we could use the garden furniture and pizza oven.

The chalet was so cosy & the shops were near by.The host Julie was so nice and responsive let us check out late which was really nice with for the trip with the kids. Famous historic Dunrobin castle was just around 20 mins drive and the castle’s garden was so beautiful. We were enjoyed spending our time there with family. And then, wildlife cruise in Cromarty was fabulous and had a nice day out with the kids as well. Overall, the chalet was the perfect spot what we were looking for and we were so glad that we found that place .The only thing is that we were so sad to stay there for only a few nights.Definitely recommended and coming back soon.

Highland Rural Private Lodge on NC500, Tain.

We had a wonderful stay at Meena’s lodge. We wanted to be near Tain but in the countryside and this fitted the bill perfectly. It is very cosy with good heating and was very clean, including the bathroom and shower. It is on edge of some beautiful woodland and lots of lovely bird song. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms and beds are very comfy. The check in and out was easy. Meena also left us a few things to eat which was unexpected and very thoughtful. I definitely recommend this as a good place to stay and it is good value. I hope to return later this year.

1 Argyle Place, Dornoch

RobinRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Myself and two work colleagues were in Dornoch for a conference and some golf. Our preference was for a self catering place rather than staying at the conference hotel. This proved to be an excellent decision. No.1 met all of our needs and we felt right at home immediately. It was clean and nicely presented. Access instructions were clear and easy to follow. We particularly liked the upside down layout, with the living space on the third floor. It makes full use of the gable end of the building and was bright and cheery, with good views down into the town square. With two en-suites, plus a communal bathroom, it was perfect for three blokes wanting their own space within the house. The bedrooms were well-appointed and had plenty of storage. The kitchen and lounge was comfortable for the precious time we had away from the conference and social events. In summary, we were all delighted with our choice and i think you will be too.

Seaside gypsy caravan retreat in the Highlands

LindsayRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Really cool place. The beach with tide pools is right across the street. The caravan is gorgeous and so cozy I slept great nested in the rich tapestries. The brand new bath a few steps across the yard is lovely and has everything you need including a fridge/freezer, snacks, artsy dishware… Emilie and Samir were very communicative and helpful, and I ended up needing help because I didn’t have a car. I thought there’d be buses from Tain up the peninsula but that didn’t end up being the case and the couple taxi drivers book out a day or two ahead of time. I ended up finding a private tour guide who picked me up, toured me around, and dropped me back in Inverness to catch a train back to Edinburgh. I was also able to hire Samir to take me on a tour of the peninsula, up to the lighthouse, around the Pict trail, and some other favorite views and historic spots. All in all this was a memorable stay I’ll always appreciate. Thanks Emilie and Samir!
