Welcoming 1 bed en suite room in a small village

HopeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Richard is an amazing host. As soon as we arrived he offered us a welcomed cup of tea. We sat in the beautiful garden chatting easily with Richard and Neil…like old friends. The accommodation was lovely…so tastefully decorated! The room is very private and quiet…overlooking the garden. Breakfast was enjoyed in the bright sun room. Richard makes delicious coffee. We wish we could have stayed longer. An absolute gem. Highly recommend Bow View!

Cottage in North Yorkshire

SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

Spindle Cottage

StevenRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Stunning little cottage with great views. House was perfectly laid out, had more than enough stuff to be comfortable. It was very well insulated and Richard was very generous with the heating. The underfloor heating in the en-suites were a god-send too, allowed for comfortable showers and quick drying of clothes as our 6 month old was getting through a lot of them! Plenty of room for both of the kids to play and relax, smart TV allowed us to stream whatever we wanted (no paid subscriptions available, but you can log yourselves in). Basically, we loved it here and it will be our go-to for visiting our family on the east coast. Thank you very much for having us, we look forward to our next stay!

Little Lodge on the Yorkshire Wolds

This is a very clean and modern cottage. Right in the heart of some beautiful British farmland. It has a very large, secure garden that our dog enjoyed exploring. There are some footpaths within a very short distance to take your dog on a walk. Parking is plentiful and right outside the door. Gina left us some essentials and teats, including dog biscuits which was a nice touch. The TV is enormous and the broadband very fast. We took our fire stick and had no problem streaming movies. It is exactly as you see in the pictures. Within 15 minutes drive there are plenty of quaint towns and visitor attractions. Gina left some visitor information for us, we had a drive into York which really is a must. We paid £14 for 3 hours parking so I would utilise the park and ride if I was doing it again.

Peacock Cottage

FedericaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have spent the bank holiday weekend at Peacock cottage and it has been amazing. The cottage is as described, very cosy and we loved the deco. You instantly feel welcomed by the warmth of the place, which has also a lot of light. The surroundings are queit and you will only hear birds and peacocks. Claudia is a fantastic host. She has accommodated an unusual request and given us plenty of suggestions for things to do, see and places to eat. The location is very nice if you want to cycle and York is only 30 minutes away. We would love to go back and explore more. Thank you so much for the experience.

Gorgeous cottage in a lovely location, perfect for walks. Great local pub, and easy driving distance from plenty of attractions and areas of interest. The cottage was immaculately clean, easy to find, and set in a lovely spot next to the village church. Would highly recommend - we hope to return soon!

Victorian house full of character and charm

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. Ava was so kind and welcoming, the room and bathroom were great, super comfortable. The location couldn't be any more perfect, it's right the town center. We would definitely stay again in the future! Thanks Ava for having us!
