Thank you Virpi for welcoming us into your lodge! What an amazing stay, the cabin was beautiful and warm during some freezing days! The sauna is amazing and we really felt like we where in a winter wonderland. I would highly recommend this lodge to family and friends. Unsere Woche war traumhaft schön! Maxence und Stephanie waren super nette Gastgeber. Immer erreichbar für alle Fragen und Wünsche die man hatte. Die Unterkunft und die Nähe zu ihren tollen Hunden war einfach nur mega. Jeder Ausflug/jede Aktivität, die M&S für uns organisiert und unternommen haben, war einzigartigen wunderschön! Our family stay at Koivula at the charming Suvanto village will be forever in our memories. Koivula felt immediately like at home. We enjoyed its location as everyone of us (4 adults from 2 generations) found what to do, whether it was downhill skiing at Pyhätunturi, cross country skiing, ice-fishing, or photography. Communication with Jani was very easy and he was very proactive (even checking on us during our stay!). He is also very knowledgable about the surroundings and gave us a lot of tips for ice-fishing spots, where is a chance to see some animals etc. The ice-fishing, outdoor lunch and reindeer visit with Jani were also perfect experience. We all hope to come back one day! Thank you, Jani for this unique visit!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Haus von Tapani. Man kann direkt vor der Tür parken und ist auch sehr schnell in der schönen finnischen Natur. Eine Lichtung ist in der Nähe, von der man sehr gut Sonnenauf- und Untergang, die Sterne und mit etwas Glück auch Polarlichter sieht. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, die Küche ist super ausgestattet und es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Wir können die Unterkunft und den Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Danke

This is a wonderful option for a family or group of friends (specially if you have kids). Right at the center, walking distance to all the places you might need. Very well communicated with local buses (holiday club bus stop within a few steps). It’s clean, comfortable, big enough for 8 people, there are sleighs for the kids we could borrow, nice accommodating decoration, beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend it. We loved our stay here and Jere was always responsive and helpful. No issues whatsoever!

Wir waren zu zweit für 12 Nächte in Lokka. Die Unterkunft ist genauso wie Markku es beschrieben hat. Super schön, ruhig gelegen und ein direkter Ausblick auf den See. In der Nähe lässt es sich prima spazieren gehen. Für die Tagesausflüge muss man allerdings relativ weit fahren, aber die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen und lassen sich mit den Ausflügen prima verbinden. Markku war immer freundlich, gut zu erreichen und hatte viele gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Der Check In und Check Out sind sehr schnell und einfach. Die Hütte ist super gut ausgestattet, insbesondere was die Küche betrifft ist alles da was man zum Kochen oder Backen benötigt. Die Sauna und der Ofen sind natürlich ein Highlight. In einem Ordner ist alles sehr gut erklärt. Vor Ort kümmert sich Mikko bei Bedarf, auch er war sehr freundlich und schnell vor Ort als wir Probleme mit dem Türschloss hatten. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

We had an amazing stay at Maria's accommodation. The house is cozy and well-equipped, with a sauna and fireplace that made it very comfortable. The location is ideal – close to Saariselkä's center, with cross-country ski tracks right behind the house. A highlight was Maria’s recommendation to visit Ilonka Farm & Café. The husky walk through the forest and relaxing in a cozy Lappish hut by the fire created an unforgettable experience. The care for the animals and the welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere made it truly special. We also rented snowmobiles, which added an adventurous touch to our stay. Communication with Maria was excellent; she always responded quickly and provided clear instructions. A fantastic accommodation with thoughtful recommendations – we highly recommend it and hope to return soon! 💕🐾

Very helpful host. Guided all possible things to be taken tare or to know before we reach there. The cottage is located located bit far from city locality, so a perfect place if you are looking for a calm peaceful vacation. Just a 100/200 meters walk - and you could stand beside the lake. Or take a walk in the trails of woods. Look through the windows - eyes will go beyond the horizon. Serenity is all around the place. Talking about the cottage, its supper equipped with almost everything that one could need to enjoy the stay. Specially the kitchen - you find every single thing for your cooking need. Loved it! Living rooms and bedrooms were very clean and tidy. Comfortable living room furnitures to relax with family or friends with a cup of coffee or even with drinks. Mobile network connectivity was excellent. Special thing to mention about the cottage location from our opinion is about northern lights. The cottage is situated probably best to enjoy northern light during the winter.
