A beautiful property in tranquil location. It was special to have the house for just the 7 of us travelling together. Ellen was very accommodating with all our requests. Highly recommended experience of staying in a Chateau

Romantic Room in Chapelle Orléans-Chambord

FrancesRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Christie was the perfect host. She welcomed us with her smile and good humour and helped us with tips about places to visit, where to eat in the area, etc. Our stay was peaceful and very healthy, I'm sure. We had reliable internet, great showers and treated with delicious fresh pastries, jams, yoghurt etc. More than we could get through. We can't wait to return and to share our experiences with our friends. Thank you Christie!

Gîte "Le JARDIN" @Château de Fontenay - BLERE-

HeatherRating, 5 stars35 months ago
Our family of four - with 2 kids ages 10 and 9 - loved staying at Chateau Fontenay's garden cottage. We loved being on the beautiful grounds of the Chateau. The pool was perfect! The kids loved playing ping pong outdoors near the pool and loved having access to the bikes (many to choose from so that we all found bikes to fit us!) for a ride along the Cher (a bike path runs right along the front of the property) to the boulangerie in the morning. The location is perfect for visiting Chenonceau and so many other chateaux. It was a quick drive to Amboise for dinner (although we also had a lovely dinner in Blere) and well-placed for a trip to Loches for the Wednesday morning market. Nathalie was so kind to write out a long list of suggested restaurants for us to try out in the area. We ate well! The cottage is rustic, but clean and had everything we needed, including a little laundry shed out back. We ate mostly breakfasts at the cottage, but there was also a grill if we had wanted to cook dinner for ourselves and a nice table to sit outside. The grassy area between us and the other cottage was good for our son to run and play football. We wouldn't hesitate to book this cottage again!

Manor house La Mazeraie

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We loved our stay at Alexia's 2-story 17th century home, which was exactly as described. It was a great location for visiting the chateaus in the area, convenient for shopping, and we enjoyed using the BQ grill for home cooked meals in the private patio area. After a busy day sight seeing, it was a terrific space to unwind [and 100% better experience here than a hotel. ]. We would also recommend purchasing some of her wines - the Rose was very good and affordably priced!

Château Bizard, 19 p, pool, near castles

AdelineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely time for a weekend with friends, the house is just beautiful, spacious rooms with private bathrooms for all the rooms. There is no one opposite, tranquility is assured. The large living rooms allow you to be all together without disturbing each other, it is very comfortable. The hospitality and tips were perfect. Thank you so much to Stephanie and David for this place that has been restored with great taste. See you next year
A serene view of a calm river reflects the surrounding greenery, framed by a large tree on the bank. A wooden boat, weathered and anchored, rests on the water's edge, with a distant glimpse of a charming château visible across the river.

A chateau just for you

AaronRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Wow! This place was truly magic and way beyond our expectations. The chateau was perfectly well furnished with great taste. But more impressive were the grounds around the chateau. The views from the windows are incredible, with very old beautiful trees, grassland, a river, like paintings! We took every day walks of several kilometers among those trees within the property, with total silence. Sometimes we biked in the property. On top of this, there is a nice swimming pool and a playing room that our daughter loved, and the river where we could go with a canoe. We stayed here around 3 weeks and plan to return.
The historic chateau is framed by a vast green lawn dotted with autumn leaves, showcasing a stately façade with multiple windows. Beyond the main building, trees and open spaces create a serene backdrop, emphasizing the property's expansive outdoor area.

Château de la Bretèche in Sologne (15 people)

CarolineRating, 5 stars77 months ago
We had an exceptional stay. The owners are remarkably kind, discreet but very responsive, the castle is true to its description, easy to access and very well maintained. The children were able to frolic, we were able to enjoy exceptional time and have lunch outside. We will come back without hesitation, it is an address that must be kept for family or friends gatherings.
A landscaped pathway is framed by tall trees on either side, leading towards a grand building visible in the distance. The sky is bright and clear, with a few scattered clouds, enhancing the natural greenery of the surrounding area.

Gîte in the Château de La Flotte, with pool

KarlRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had such a wonderful stay at Marina’s Chateau. It is incredibly gorgeous, so peaceful, and close to many things in the Loir Valley. We were within 1 hour of Chambord, Chenonceau, Le Mans Circuit. The views were truly amazing from every window. We occupied the eastern half of the Château with all the privacy we could ask for. There are four bedrooms upstairs that worked great for us with our children and also a bedroom on the main floor. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well stocked with linens. You’re five minutes from a delicious bakery, 10 minutes from the Super U grocery store. Marina also gave some other excellent recommendations. We are truly thrilled that we chose to stay here. The Château has some amazing history, much of it, kept with the pictures and the originality of the building from the floors to other artifacts. And it was so wonderful to hear some of the history from Marina herself. If you’re traveling with your family, skip the hotel and get yourself a Château.
A spacious outdoor dining area is set on green grass, featuring a long table with colorful tableware and food. In the background, a grand building with large windows and ornate architecture is visible, surrounded by trees and lush greenery.

Large apartment in Neo-Gothic Castle

MarylèneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was my first Airbnb reservation, everything went very well. Benjamin is a friendly, welcoming, very responsive and accommodating host, which made our weekend easier. The setting is beautiful, effect guaranteed. Booked for a relaxing weekend for 8 moms. Everyone found the accommodation very warm, it felt like home (with the nice decor as well). Everyone slept very well (good bedding + very quiet). I would recommend it in a second.
A lush green landscape is depicted, featuring a circular driveway lined with manicured grass. Surrounding trees provide shade, while the charming stone buildings in the background exhibit classic architecture. The clear blue sky enhances the serene outdoor setting, inviting a sense of peace.
