Our forest cottage is beautifully located on the edge of the Veluwe forest. Both hiking and cycling and equestrian trails are within immediate reach. The cottage is simple and sustainable. It is suitable for a couple possibly with children (one bedroom with double bed and bunk bed). There is internet, TV, refrigerator, oven, etc. Heating with a heat pump, a green roof, electricity via solar panels, clay floor and walls. Your dog can walk freely on a fenced property of 6,000 meters. You can bring your horse.

The entire ground floor of this ark on the Rhine belongs to your domain: a cozy kitchen connected by a hall with the living room. The kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, a large oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and various appliances. The designer bed is in the living room. On your private terrace is the outdoor shower. In the garden overlooking the Rhine, there are various seating and BBQ areas.

A Delicious Place

Apartment "a lovely spot" has a wood-burning stove as the main heating. So in the cold, you have to stoke it. Breakfast in the morning sun. The fridge is richly filled for breakfast, the sandwiches are served in the morning at the desired time. You sleep on the upper floor, which can be reached via a narrow spiral staircase. Perfect location for walks and bike rides through forests and nature reserves. Or a visit to the beautiful Hanseatic cities. Good restaurant, close by and in the village.

Maja's Hideaway is set deep in our large private forest. Handmade out of many reclaimed materials by Jaap, and personally designed to blend into the glorious high trees by Lucinda, with 10.5m metres of glass so you can watch the animals pass by from the sofa. The terrace is a morning sun trap for a great yoga and meditation session followed by breakfast to the birdsong chorus. Perfect for a couple (plus baby in cot) or 2 friends. On the main terrace, which is partly covered, a large table. The park has an indoor swimming pool which you can use. Public transport nearby.

The accommodation is also located on the VSM railway line, where an old steam train passes twice a day. Of course, you can also ride along between Apeldoorn and Dieren.
