Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Loch Linnhe

Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

Great stay at a very family friendly location (great for young children). Very charming location and amazing history if you are into that sort of thing. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had one minor hiccup that we resolved very quickly (not at all the host’s fault) and he got back to our inquiry within the half hour. If you are exploring the Great Glen or Loch Ness, I cannot think of a better place to base out of.

We loved our stay here. It is exactly as advertised and the views looking out across Loch Linnhe were stunning. It was perfect for what we needed. Andrew was a great host and helped us get settled nice and quickly. I’d recommend to anyone looking to visit Fort William and the surrounding area and would love to visit again myself!

Our second time staying here. On arrival we were greeted by Mike who showed us around. Lovely apartment with views onto the Cloisters. We made use of the amenities onsite, and enjoyed the stunning views and historic location. We had a wonderful stay once again.

What a spot! The accommodation was exactly as described, well appointed, loch views, loads of space, super comfortable, amazing! We had the best time and will definitely be looking to return. Martin’s place is really comfortable. We felt right at home. The kitchen is generously stocked, beds comfy, rooms lovely and big, shower fab, lovely pieces of furniture. The location above Waitrose on the Byre’s Road is fab, you’re right in the middle of everything, restaurants, shops, and 2 minutes from the Botanic Gardens. Martin responded to all our questions within minutes. He couldn’t have been more helpful. A wonderful apartment in a fantastic location. Thank you Martin.

Great place , would return on next visit

We had a great one night stay after a day of walking. The setting is beautiful - stunning views. The room was perfect - cosy and quiet. Joanna was super helpful and responsive. We’ll certainly stay again if back in the area.

It was such a nice stay, the place was super quiet and cozy. A major plus for us is that it is very close to M (8) and felt very convenient for the places we were visiting for the duration of the stay.

Booked Robert's place at short notice. Clear instructions and easy access to apartment. Quite location, small but well- equipped kitchen and massive TV in living room. Very helpful host!

This place is fantastic. The house is mega, and can’t beat the location. Jack and Guadalupe were top notch hosts. Will hope to have this place again next time we’re in the highlands.

It was a privilege to stay at Lagavulin Hall, and all the history that goes with it. David was very helpful throughout the stay, communicating well and just all in all a lovely host. The place was, dare I say, better than the photos showed! Three lovely bedrooms, two Lounge spaces, and an ample kitchen. All the nice parts of staying in a converted church. Also, with the Lagavulin and Ardbeg tours, they both mentioned the hall itself which was a treat! Thanks David, will highly recommend to others heading to Islay!

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The location is incredible, the thoughtfulness that has gone into every detail, and the welcome from Cameron and Lucy (and pets) make this a very special place. Just before arriving, the hosts needed to move us to a different Chalet because some departing guests became ill. We were not only happy to move to another lovely property, but were impressed how the hosts were looking out for the needs of their guests. Highly recommend a visit and looking at the full list of accomodation on their website. Hope to visit again.

Fantastic house - really comfortable and well located. The location is great right beside the shop. We also enjoyed using the leisure club, the claghsn inn and Skoosh. Easy access to the quieter side of Loch Lomond was ideal. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sona House, which is very stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. The location, fresh flowers throughout the house and the sight and sounds of the attractive stream at the back were all great.
