The exposed stone walls, limestone hearth and deep blue painted walls are just some of the features of this beautiful cottage. Lakeside Cottage is a cottage situated next to the rural village of Aughnacliffe Co.Longford. Suitable for Singles, Couples or Small families. We are next door to Leebeen Park with its beautiful playground and lake and a short 2 minute drive to scenic lakes of Lough Gowna. Lovely spot for fishing lovers and kayaking.1 Minute walk/drive tothe local pubs/shops and a short 5 min drive to nearby villages Arva and Lough Gowna. 15 minute drive to Longford Town and a 20 minute to Cavan Town centre.

Nestled in beautiful country farmland and only 5 minute drive to local town Ballinagh where there is shops, pubs, restaurants, & pharmacy. Beautiful area for walking & fishing as Cavan is renowned for its rivers and lakes. 4 New stables are available to rent separately and also Toddy’s Hideaway studio is new on same grounds as Cottage sleeping 2 and can be rented also.

The Hobbit House - Unique Quirky Grass Roof House

The Hobbit House is set within an orchard along side 3 yurts. Its grass roof and quirky round door entrance are reminiscent of The Hobbit. The Hobbit House sleeps up to 6. There are two handcrafted King size beds (which can also sleep as four singles) for a friends getaway. It also sleeps two singles, so is perfect for large families. A travel cot can also be provided on request. Private dry composting toilet and hot outdoor shower for those staying in The Hobbit House.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
