Apartment 2 Crannoch - Glen Nevis

UdayanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay at this lovely apartment in Fort William. The location was ideal — peaceful yet just a short drive to the town centre and iconic spots like Glenfinnan Viaduct and Ben Nevis. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Check-in was smooth, and communication with our hosts was excellent throughout. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and clear instructions. Perfect for couples or small group looking to explore the Highlands without any hassle. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we’re back in the area!

The Barn - Luxurious Self Catering In Ardfern

JaniceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just got back from a fantastic week at The Barn in Ardfern. Cameron’s dad Phil lives nearby and he gave us lots of good tips for places to see. He was also a lovely friendly person to chat to. The Barn is very private and peaceful. Inside it is fantastically designed, comfortable, with everything we could need - a beautiful kitchen, crisp white bed linen, lovely bath and shower, and nice milk, biscuits and wine to welcome us. Places not to miss are Arduaine garden, Crarae garden, Ardmaddy garden and Crinan canal for walking or cycling. Lucy’s in the village was lovely for breakfast, lunch or coffee & cake. Just five minute walk up the hill near The Barn is a splendid view on the surrounding Lochs. We also went to Iona (book ahead with CalMac or West Coast Tours) - it was great getting the bus between ferries rather than driving. The ferries get very booked up at this time of year. Altogether we could not have asked for a lovelier week- thanks so much Phil Abi and Cameron.

The Stable - cottage with a spectacular lake view

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our week at The Stables is one of the best holidays we've ever had. Laura and Ronnie we're so welcoming and the accommodation is idyllic. It was such a relaxing week in a stunning area. There were plenty of walks to do with our boys (dogs) and resident Bertie made them feel right at home. We're still missing Bertie now!! I think I asked Ronnie for local recommendations everyday and he was always so happy to help. We'd highly recommend Nick Nairn's for a meal and takeaway pizza! The Stables was impeccably clean, perfectly equipped for our stay and an all round great spot. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Location is close to Neptune’s Staircase and on the way to Glenfinnan Viaduct. We ate in town (10 min drive) but wanted to try Sammy’s fish n chips which was just around the corner (as well as a grocery store). There is a bathroom downstairs as well as one upstairs off of a bedroom. The master upstairs has a perfect view of Ben Nevis.

Very well located. Five minute, downhill walk to town. Uphill on the return. Off street parking. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of hooks and towel rails in bathroom. James and Kirsty were extremely helpful and friendly. Tiny kitchen bench to prepare meals and eat at. Lacks a sense of privacy due to the location of windows and the shared driveway. Ideal for a short stay.

Beautiful property in a stunning setting.

Cobblerview Apartment

KatharineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an excellent stay at Cobblerview Apartment! The view was, of course, gorgeous - but the care that Carol & Don took in ensuring our stay was comfortable was greatly appreciated and made our experience especially enjoyable. The apartment is cosy and immediately inviting, with a sizable living room space and dining table positioned next to the window and looking out onto Loch Long. Though the view you have of the loch itself is expansive, we never felt as though we didn’t have enough privacy - aside from this window out onto the water, almost all of the natural light that filters in is through skylights. We never needed for utensils or utilities, Carol & Don provided a full range of crockery, cleaning supplies and towels It’s worth bearing in mind that as this is a waterfront property, the bugs are in abundance around summer and you’ll need to have your spray on if you want to sit out on the balcony this time of year!

The apartment had everything we needed and we received clear instructions on how to operate the equipment Furthermore, we had fantastic views of Loch Long and the mountains. Beautiful garden present and terrace with beautiful plants. And especially not to forget a nice one at 5 minutes walking distance to let the dog out. This is a place we will definitely book should we visit the highlands again.😃

We had a wonderful stay at Kayt & David’s place! It was absolutely spotless and so well stocked with anything and everything we could have needed for the weekend, including some really thoughtful touches like croissants, milk and the famous Tunnocks tea cakes! The views over the garden and hills were gorgeous. It was so easy to find and access when we arrived, parking was available right outside on the street and there is a cute pub with some great food right across the street. The bathroom and kitchen were in fantastic condition and supplied with everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. There were lots of instructions around the place so we were never stuck working out what to do with appliances etc. We had a brilliant time and hope to return one day!

Trust her directions and all her suggestions! The property was fully furnished and stocked and beautiful. I stayed up late watching the sun set over the ben nevis. The sky windows are amazing. Cannot recommend her property enough!
