Taigh Geal Apartment

AyaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The apartment was lovely new, clean, and very comfortable to stay in. It was in a perfect location for anyone who doesn’t want to stay in Portree but still close enough to visit. We didn’t meet Sue, but her daughter was available via phone for any issue or question. My only suggestion: I would have appreciated it if the kitchen was stocked with quality coffee and various tea flavors. It’s hard to start the morning without a good cup of coffee.

Loved our time here. Exactly as described. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely view. Hot-tub was a nice touch at the end of a day exploring the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant in the attached hotel. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting. We would stay here again. 🌸

The Bay -1 bedroom apartment

JeanRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We cannot recommend Carol and Martin's place enough! The views from the unit are incredible and the unit itself is absolutely spotless. It is so quiet and peaceful - zero road noise at all, just the lapping of the waves on the shore. The unit is fully stocked and there was even a basket of the most thoughtful local treats waiting for us when we arrived :) The shower was fantastic, too. We will be recommending the unit to our friends and family as it is one in a million.

Treat Yourself To Luxury & Style

DavidRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The property was very comfortable and cosy and beautifully fitted out, with interesting features of an old house. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and plenty clean towels laid out for us. The beds were very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our stay, with the flat adding to the enjoyment of our break. The place was lovely and warm during a winter month, which we were very grateful for. The off-street parking was very nice to have and we enjoyed the closeness of the place to the town centre, walking across the bridge every day for different things.

Askival

ReneeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Alison was a wonderful host for her place from giving us excellent directions (we came in after dark and still found it easily) to checking us in personally. We communicated with her that we had left later than planned and would be getting there late so we certainly didn't expect a personal check-in, but it was much appreciated. The place itself is a charming croft and a small distance from Spean Bridge into the countryside. The views are gorgeous and the interior is welcoming and well equipped. For us it was a central location for exploring - .5 hour to Fort William, 1.5 hrs to Glen Creran, and slighly less than 2 hrs to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skybridge to the Isle of Skye, etc. We would hike all day and come home late to make a last meal and sleep. Having a washer and dryer in a mud room area was fabulous with mud on our hikes. We would definitely stay here again both for the scenery and the hospitality.

What to say except … whaou! Only 2 nights spent at Anna's place but the feeling of home! Too short stay everything was perfect! Proximity to places like Loch Ness, Glenfinnan Viaduc (Harry Potter fan review!) , the highlands, the Isle of Skye brief central point! And what a welcome! Anna is ADORABLE, the place is peaceful, the house is perfect ... our next stay will be longer for sure! Anna again thank you it was a pleasure to meet you:)

Large house in quiet Culloden (10 min from city)

Craig’s place was one of the nicest air bnb’s we have stayed at. The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 3 couples. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very modern and had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the area around Inverness. We would absolutely recommend Craig’s place.

Spacious 2 Bed Apartment with sea views

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The space was absolutely spotless - meticulously (and I mean meticulously) clean and beautifully presented in every detail. The accommodation is finished to an incredibly high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. Sam, the host, was amazing, from the initial booking to arriving on site, so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and hospitality made this one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Sam. Best wishes, Mark, Josh & Zac x (Leyland Lancashire)

I had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—if not better. We felt welcome and comfortable throughout our time there. Absolutely breathtaking surroundings! We woke up to a stunning view of Ben Nevis with a dusting of snow, and wandered down the beach to look out over Loch Linnhe framed by low hanging clouds, mist coming down the valleys, and early morning sun steaming the shallows. Our amenities were perfect, and we even managed to roast a chicken to go along with our bubbly to celebrate Hogmanay 🥳 Peggy was a very welcoming host, had ventured out into the storm on the evening of our arrival to take pictures to help us find our home for the night - thank you!
