Waterfront vacation rentals in Loch Carron

We spent three days at Daniel's place and it was perfect for staying in Fort William and accessing nearby areas such as Glencoe. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen and parking were great to have. Best was that we were a family of 4 with two teenaged children and everyone liked being independent. The location couldn't have been more walkable. Even though right in town, it was also quiet. The entry hallway could be spruced up a bit and better smelling but that's it! We had one issue when my daughter tripped a breaker with her hair dryer. A reminder to get a converter as well as an adapter if coming from the US. Daniel responded immediately with where the breaker panel was located.

This Airbnb was amazing! It was a perfect way to end our time in Scotland. The location is perfect, the walk to town is beautiful as you’re right along the river and close to the bridge. It’s such a cozy apartment and in a quiet neighborhood. Rebecca is a great host, very responsive and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely stay with the most amazing views.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sgurr Mhairi. It was clean and cosy, with breathtaking views. Susan and Neil were very nice and helpful. The location was also quite central and it was easy to go to different parts of Skye from the apartment by car. We highly recommend it!

We cannot recommend Carol and Martin's place enough! The views from the unit are incredible and the unit itself is absolutely spotless. It is so quiet and peaceful - zero road noise at all, just the lapping of the waves on the shore. The unit is fully stocked and there was even a basket of the most thoughtful local treats waiting for us when we arrived :) The shower was fantastic, too. We will be recommending the unit to our friends and family as it is one in a million.

Great accommodation, 2 minute walk across the bridge into town centre

I can totally recommend Hayley's place. Easy walking distance to train station and amenities. Hayley responded to messages really quickly and she was super helpful. Really looking forward to staying here again. Thankyou.

Amazing little place - an absolute gem! Perfect escape and handy for where I was working. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. Short commute to Inverness (30 mins) for wide range of shops etc if you wanted more to do too.

We had a quick one night stay with family, the place was incredible and Zoe was extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and nice. Bathrooms were spotless. Comfy beds. Hot tub and Sauna worked great. The view is incredible. Nice private location but close to food and gas station. We wish we booked for more nights! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This is not a house, it’s a home. It has everything you need for the family to be comfortable right from the moment you arrive with something for everyone. Standout for the young children a fab garden with an awesome trampoline. Standout for the adults space and comfort to totally relax. What takes it from great to exceptional are the thoughtful touches …… and there are a lot but it’s most of all the welcome and hospitality of Kay our host who kept in touch to make sure all was well and gave us brilliant tips on where to go suitable for each of our parties needs. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in the Highlands, don‘t look any further, you‘ve found it! This place is gorgeous! The house is spacious, clean and has spectacular views. We loved to cook and sit in the well-equipped kitchen and admire the ever-changing Ben Nevis. The remoteness of the place made it so special to us, yet you are still close enough to Fort William (40 minutes) and a bunch of other places. A car is a must though. Elizabeth is a wonderful host who provided us with fresh eggs, milk and a basket full of treats. She gave great tips and always reacted promptly. We were sad to leave and hope to be back!

The Islands View was absolutely stunning. Not only did my husband and I got an amazing view of Skye, but the place was immaculate and conveniently located.

We had a great time. It was within walking distance of many things. It was super clean and well maintained. Our family really enjoyed our stay. 💕

We LOVED our stay here. As others have said, the views are just incredible every direction you look! It was amazing to watch the sunset looking out to the loch. We walked into Dornie a couple of times and drove over to Skye very easily. Amazing location and sooo beautiful, would not hesitate to recommend or come back ourselves

The location was perfect. It’s quite hard to find a place if you don’t make reservations in advance (even in April) so keep that in mind. The place was lovely. And Fiona was very responsive.

It was a spacious apartment , aesthetically pleasing and lovely greens all around. Sandra was always responsive and friendly. Overall a fab stay when travelling with parents and kid.

I can’t imagine a more perfect place to visit when exploring the highlands. This home is in walking distance to everything Inverness has to offer. What’s more, is that the view from the front window is postcard perfect. The listing is spot on, the home is clean and Fiona is a responsive host with great recommendations. We loved every minute in Inverness. Thanks to Fiona for sharing her wonderful home.

I was drawn to Onie's place because it looked cosy and homely in the photos. Well, we weren't disappointed. It was very comfy and we enjoyed the board games. Stunning views in both directions from the windows.
