The Studio is in the centre of one of Wales' most scenic villages at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. It is a self-contained studio with a double bed or 2 singles, dining/sitting areas, kitchen and shower room. The Hand Hotel serves great food, best to book. Well placed for a long weekend of walking, cycling or visiting the Pontcysyllte World Heritage site, Llangollen with its heritage railway, Lake Vernwy, waterfalls and many more wonderful places. An excellent base for exploring North Wales.

It's just 10 mins drive from Bala town and walking distance to the lake. Patio doors from the lounge open onto a side garden where you can enjoy BBQs, and in the garden behind there are views of Bala lake and mountains. There's a kingsize bed upstairs + a kingsize sofa bed downstairs to sleep four.

Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.

Such a beautiful and peaceful break away! Cyfie farm is so welcoming and friendly, the hosts and family who are walking around the farm and the animals are all happy to see you. The air bnb itself was clean, cosy and had everything you needed.. but the location made it all even better! The most stunning views, and you’re in the thick of nature without feeling out of place. The perfect break away from the every day routine Teresa and Matt were very helpful and welcoming hosts. They were always responsive to any messages or questions we had, and always happy to have a chat if we saw them on the farm Felt like home away from home, we’ll be returning very soon!

Little paradise for us on our weekend away! Beautifully furnished and stunningly clean. Little homely details like Welsh cakes on arrival, free logs for the fire, fully stocked bathroom and flowers on the outside table that just made it that little bit more special. Martin & Helen are fabulous hosts. They responded quickly to any messages sent and have been welcoming and friendly. We stayed at their stunning airbnb for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The views are absolutely stunning, they include The Great Orme, Little Orme, Sea views and Llandudno town. The outside area was perfect! Not overlooked and very peaceful. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and the shower was amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. My friend and I are keen walkers and explored The Great Orme on the first day. This is doable from the accommodation if you have relatively good fitness. Town centre is approximately a 40 minute walk away but did see buses on the main road. The Penrhyn Arms is a 15 minute walk away and served wood-fired pizza in a great beer garden. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to do The Little Orme as it's very close by. Overall a fantastic place which we will surely return to. Thank you, Vicky & Alison

lovely house, beautiful scenery and really secluded, would grab some bits from the shop on your way in as its very out the way which is brilliant, barely saw another vehicle drive up the road, it was silent. secure garden too so no worries about your dog escaping and going for a little walk by themselves, would definitely stay again.

We had the most wonderful week in Karen’s cosy bungalow with our 3 year old daughter Willow. It was truly stunning. The views of the beach, the sea and the mountains are breathtaking. We saw an amazing sunset from the garden six out of our seven nights there. The bungalow was spotless and we received a lovely welcome hamper and some delicious cheese on our arrival. The bed linen was so soft. Karen is such a lovely host and gave us clear instructions on how to find the bungalow and answered questions straight away. It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Karen’s bungalow and I cannot recommend it highly enough. She even came to say hello just before we went home. We have already booked for the sane week next year.

As many reviewers have mentioned before, Iain and Anne's farmhouse is located in Welsh countryside, surrounded by meandering hills, lush meadows, braying sheep with only the occasional car zipping by. This renders a perfect avenue to unwind, decompress and relax, in a way nature intended. Be wary of the highly temperamental weather though but not of the hospitality that the hosts offered. From tending to all our needs to giving a lambing tour, we highly recommend their lovely place!
