There's a real sense of wonder when you first arrive at Bodfan Bach; turn off the busy coast road leading to the Llyn Peninsula near Plas Glynllifon (former home of the Barons Newborough) and head down lanes towards the picture-perfect village of Llandwrog and the vast sweep of beach at Dinas Dinlle. Then head down the private track through the trees to arrive at Bodfan Bach and you soon see why the original builders of Bodfan chose this spot to settle almost 400 years ago.
