Beautifully converted chapel in rural setting.

SarahRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay in the chapel, it is beautifully presented, in lovely surrounds. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were exactly as they said. The bedding was lovely too. We enjoyed a 7 mile walk at Harlech beach, stunning, a walk from Barmouth to Fairbourne. We did a circlular from Llangollen including Castell Dinas Brân. Highly recommend. Use All-trials app. Bod Petryal was a wonderful forest walk in the Clocaenog Forest. Stunning. We saw loads of dragon flies. We did green and yellow. Free parking. We stopped at the VALLE CRUCIS ABBEY well worth a stop as you go past. Free to visit and park. Coed Moel Famau - in the heart of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We did a brilliant walk to the top - Jubilee tower. After we sat and watched the sunset and relaxed with our deck chairs and coffee. An awesome view. We took the blue route. Wonderful scenery and plants. Great selection of orchids. All in all a wonderful trip. Recommend it

Moyra and Ian were wonderful hosts from start to finish. Excellent communication and superb information covering all questions and queries. The house was immaculate in a beautifully isolated location surrounded by countryside and friendly sheep. Perfect location to see all the sights nearby we visited Snowdon, the north coast and a couple of zip world sites and were never more than an hour away. The house has everything you could need and wish for. I highly recommend this property.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming orchard cottage in North Wales. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is beautifully presented. spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The location is stunning, nestled in peaceful countryside with breathtaking views, yet just a short drive from local towns, scenic walking routes, and the coast. We especially loved the peaceful tranquil of the surrounding areas. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing helpful local tips and even leaving a few special touches for our arrival that made us feel so appreciated. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making this a memorable place to stay. We left feeling refreshed and recharged, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. We had an amazing stay with our LO at the cottage. The steam railway is 4 min away on foot as well as the lake is in very close proximity. The host is lovely and very responsive. It is so quiet at night, we slept like logs!

The Old Barn, Near Bala

LisaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I absolutley loved my stay at The Old Barn! It was such a last minute trip (booked less than 24 hours before arriving), but Rhian was so welcoming and had everything ready for me! The Barn and the surroundings are just ideal and so picturesque. It was the perfect break from the City and a gorgeous space for me and my dog. The Barn was well equipped and there was nothing that I needed that the Barn didn’t have! I was a bit nervous about the road due to reading a few reviews, but me and my little Toyota Aygo made it up there just fine, so don’t let that put you off! Perfect location with less than half an hour to Bala and Llangollen. There’s some lovely drives and places to go for walks, the countryside around here is just beautiful. Gorgeous sunsets from the property itself or you can drive up the hills in the surrounding areas for more vast views across the countryside. I loved every second and I will definitely be back!

Amazing sea/mountain view-beach 10 minute walk

MarilynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was spotless, very well equipped with good quality items and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, we never heard a sound other than the sea and the occasional seagull. The garden was very private. We went to Porthmadog and did a trip on the steam train to Beddgelert which is such a pretty village. We got an ice cream and sat by the river. Lovely shops too. We went to Portmeirion one day which was lovely as it was a warm sunny day. The most outstanding feature of course was the stunning view. It was an absolute joy to watch the sunsets as the big orange sun gradually disappeared behind the mountains. Something we will remember forever.
