Bridgend Cottage Escaping to Happiness

Bridgend Cottage is a quirky Welsh cottage perched on the river Leri, it is built into a beautiful humpback bridge. Dol Y Bont is a small hamlet in a farming community. The cottage is the perfect romantic rural getaway. You can lie in bed and listen to the river running below the window. Outside the garden is on the riverbank or there is a balcony over the river. Our lovely old cottage retains many original features including low beamed ceilings. Sadly we are unable to accept guests under 12.

Borth is a quiet location, With a sandy beach - and lots of amenities in the village With pubs cafes And a 2 minute walk to train station. We have a lovely cinema with a wonderful restaurant, Good surfing with surfing lessons available and Kayak hire at Borth beach - Ynyslas 1.5 miles away has drive on beach with sand dunes Also coastal /River walks There is also a golf course a short walkaway. On arrival you will receive a welcome pack with basic essentials

Relaxing break near the Ceredigion coastal path

We have recently renovated a self contained annexe to a clean and comfortable place to stay. The annexe consists of a large open plan lounge & kitchen area, large bedroom, bathroom and an enclosed deck area in the garden. Please note despite airbnb overview making us look as if we are in the middle of a field, we are in fact on the side of quiet B Road. Train station in Bow Street is now open, a 10 minute walk away, we are happy to pick you up to save you the WALK!

We have just returned from a wonderful 6-days in Wales. Robat and Megan's property is beautiful. Everything you need and more. The house was very well facilitated. Located in a stunning setting. Fantastic tranquil gem of a property ,so homely and cozy and private ,exactly as described by Helen ,the cottage has ,beautiful decor and is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay ,Helen has certainly gone above and beyond to ensure the cottage is truly a home from home ,spotlessly clean and the addition of a log burner really adds to the character of the property ,the cottage also provides stunning views of the mountains from the rear garden which are a real sight first thing in the morning ,Helen was a super host and provided all the information we required prior to arriving along with adding a personal touch of Welsh cake and a bottle of organic cider upon our arrival which was very much appreciated,there is plenty to see and do within the surrounding areas and the area as a whole is breathtaking ,my only regret is I didn't stay longer ,but hope to return in the not to distant future .thank you Helen

If you’re looking for a getaway, this cabin is the perfect place to do so. It’s exactly as shown in the pictures, very cozy and comfortable. It’s situated 20 minutes from the seafront and about an hour drive to Snowdonia. Catrin, our host was very friendly and answered all our questions fast. She even left a basket with all the essentials that we might need. We will definitely be back here soon.

Had a great stay here. Zana was extremely helpful, and there were some lovely local touches. The space was really well setup. The location is a lovely part of Wales.
