Ty Cornel Glyngynwydd Cottages

The cottage was warm and clean and just what we wanted as a base to explore this beautiful part of Wales. My daughter especially loved the little stream running through the courtyard infront of the cottages.

Quirky cottage in pretty Midwales market town

Lovely place, especially if you’d like a technology detox. Do bare in mind there aren’t that many resturant places, around about 5 pubs however it’s a lovely community town all the locals are absolutely lovely!

Cosy Nook with amazing walks & stunning scenery

JamesRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb managed by Alison—she was friendly, responsive, and made the whole booking process a breeze. The Nook was absolutely perfect: spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly cosy. We stayed for two nights while attending a nearby wedding, and it was the ideal base. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was immaculate, and the view from the window in the morning was just stunning—birds chirping, peaceful countryside, and a real sense of escape. Highly recommend!

!NEW! Birch Banc Retreats - Pen-Rhiw

HannahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A stunning setting and so peaceful! You feel immersed in the countryside surrounded by birdsong and sheep baa’s. I absolutely could not fault the place, it was so clean and tidy with everything you could want! She even made sure to include milk and bubbles for the bath! Her instructions were super clear and she was responsive with any questions. She even popped by briefly to make sure we had found everything to be ok which was so lovely of her. Despite 2 neighbouring cabins close by, it still feels intimate and private. We would love to stay again, we just wished we booked for longer this time!!

self-contained rural retreat

TomRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A beautiful place to say, the barn was airy, spacious, and very comfortable. The garden is a real treat too. I went to walk, and explore the local area, and I couldn’t have been more happy, it’s a fab place to check out. The walks from the door were really amazing, I walked for miles without seeing anyone, the views were stunning, and the paths and trails are great. Helen had provided lots of local information in the barn, and she was also very helpful as a local guide. It’s just a perfect place to stay, explore, and unwind at.

Had a lovely stay at Idris. The location was excellent for a quiet few nights away, with plenty of hiking opportunities and great views. The property itself was well stocked and had everything I needed to full enjoy my stay. The host Suzanne was also very friendly and ready to help as needed.
