Wellbeing break in Medieval market town

IsobelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed our stay very much, the accommodation was nice and very clean. We were impressed that the information booklet went through all the steps that are taken to ensure the place was cleaned to a high standard. The only thing for me as an older person was that I found the futon bed was a little difficult to get up from, but it didn’t spoil our stay. We found Ruthin charming and very friendly and helpful Thank you Ceri

Derwen Deg Fawr

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay here, Tania and Jonathan (and Mya the dog!) were lovely and helpful. Home was just as described, if not better! Would definitely recommend as an escape from a busy town! The turn onto the lane was a bit tricky to navigate and the wifi wasn’t great but the rest absolutely made up for it. A gorgeous few days! ☺️

The Longbarn at Caerfallen

TheaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautifully appointed with everything you would need for a short break. We BBQed/cooked most nights - there was everything you could require for self catering. Lots of really lovely hikes within walking distance / a short drive. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Zoe!

Famau View Farm Converted Barn with Stunning Views

TimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful cottage in a tranquil setting, ideal for families or couples looking for a country getaway . The cottage is conveniently accessible to main roads that run to local attractions in north wales despite its more remote location & country walks to take in the scenery on the doorstep. Cottage exactly as described & pictured, very clean , well equipped & the pool table adds a nice featured for entertaining. Paul was very responsive to our needs & questions. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Julie and her husband met us at the door and gave us a thorough briefing on local amenities and how to survive the hottest day of the year! Julie is proactive and communicative, and we had a great stay. Perfect for a walking break!

The Shed at Plas Hendre

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a brilliant few days at The Shed. The interior is beautifully presented and everything has been well thought through. We enjoyed walks around the area, one of the nearby National Trust properties and the local pub. It was also lovely to meet Lisa and Michael along with Bonnie the dog

The Red Shed - cosy woodland cabin with woodburner

HannahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Thank you Claire and Rob for such a lovely weekend, the red shed was exactly what we needed! Relaxed and peaceful, really comfortable with absolutely everything provided at the property so we could cook and feel at home. Claire and Rob made as up a fire in the burner for our arrival after 8pm - the red shed is extremely cosy and well insulated - and were kindly flexible on check out too. Only problem was we just didn't want to leave! We would really love to stay for longer next time - so worth the long drive from Bristol! The beautiful valley views and woodland full of birdsong and signs of spring, we would highly recommend the red shed for peace and comfort in the heart of nature.
