Amazing mountain experience in Ottsjö in Åre

In this fantastic little mountain village of Ottsjö, our newly built house is located in a high location overlooking the mountain world in Åre. The house is 76 sqm large with panoramic windows and beautiful material choices. In this house you will feel like you're outdoors even when you're sitting inside by the fireplace with a cup of tea. Right behind the house there are several prepared cross-country tracks, scooter tracks, hiking trails and proximity to nice fishing. A perfect house for friends and families with children who also want to bring their dog.

Rustic mountain lodge.

In the cottage there is a double bed and an extra mattress, dining table,dresser and kitchen counter with stovetop, microwave, coffee maker and necessary utensils. TV with ChromeCast and radio as well as Wifi. WC/shower with floor heating. Pets allowed! In the surroundings there is fishing/swimming lake, hiking trails/ski tracks and slopes. Kiosk nearby. A mile to Funäsdalen which is the capital with all the service. The cottage is nicely located overlooking Rödfjället. Large parking available!!

In Brunkulla II you live both primitive and comfortable - water you pick up in the creek, hot water you get by heating on the stove - yourself you get hot from carrying the water bucket up the hill! If you want to get really hot, take a wood-fired sauna with portable shower. The cottage has three beds - 1x120cm, 2x90cm and is heated with electricity and/or wood stove! You live undisturbed on a beautiful nature plot near the mountain. Ski away along the trail, directly from the cabin. Our timbered cabin has a wood fire and rustic mountain feel. There are two bedrooms and a cozy living room with a total of 6 beds. Close to hiking trails, ski trails, downhill skiing, swimming and fishing! Shop, restaurants and service can be found down in Ljungdalens village.

At the top of the hill overlooking Skarvarna is this state-of-the-art mountain cabin completed June 2022 with sun all day. The location is optimal for those who seek variety and want to go to different places during their stay as it is about 20 minutes to both Bruksvallarna and Fjällnäs. There are mountain biking trails below the area towards Funäsdalen/Bruksvallarna. It is about 30 minutes (2.5 km) to walk to Funäsdalens Centrum. Charge the electric car at the house, cook in the new kitchen and enjoy views of the mountains.

Relax in this secluded log cabin between Handölforsen and Snasahögarna. Genuine cottage with kitchen area, bunk beds and fireplace. In the outbuildings, there is a woodshed, shower and sauna. Electricity is available for heating, cooking and lighting. Water from the mountain stream is in a tap outside the cabin. A wonderful place to just relax and enjoy the simplicity, or a base to explore the area around the famous bird lake Ånnsjön in the east or Storulvåns mountain station and all the classic mountains to the west.

If you want to take a bus, you get down to the stop at E14. You can bring skis or board the bus. In addition to skiing and cycling, you can hike, fish, go dog sledding, rent a snowmobile and a variety of other activities. You can get directly from the house to hiking trails and cross country biking. If you have any questions, you can call us and ask.

2nd time we stayed at Richard's cabin. Good news: the snowmobile track does not go right next to the cabin any longer.

Fjällstuga Ljungdalen

We have had a very nice early summer week in Härjedalen/Jämtland's high mountain nature. Up on the hill, a quarter of an hour's walk from the cottage. Multiple starting points with short car rides. The cottage has everything you need, and bonus details such as wind-protected patios and ski dryers. Right now in June, there were also reindeer a few times outside the kitchen window. Our dog also enjoyed the cottage. Martin has left simple and good instructions and no hassle to turn on water and get heat and fridge/freezer started. I can really recommend this home also for summer weeks in the mountains.

This was our second time and it was absolutely amazing again. Ljungdalen offers silence and tranquility along with adventure and beauty. Recommend!

Very Private Mountain Cabin in Härjedalen

We stayed at this house for the second time, again in winter, for 10 days. This year it was pretty cold with minus 38 degrees Celsius. The house is a little miracle - it's never too cold, too warm, the air never dry, it seems to be breathing with the residents. A cozy house in magnificent scenery. Kitchen is unusually well equipped, communication with Olle works quickly and very well!

The place is great, the surroundings with the scenery are a dream and I saw reindeer just outside my window almost daily. Lena is very friendly and helpful, she even picked me up from the train station and offered another ride as I didn't have a car. Highly recommend, I would always like to come back 😊

Very new and fresh cabin that had a lot to offer. Close to hiking and skiing trails that quickly took us up on the mountains. Beautiful view of the mountain tops from the large windows and terrace in sunny position. Indoors there were all amenities. Highly recommended.
