Vacation rentals with a kayak in Livingston County

Great place to stay. Very clean and beautiful! Challenging getting in and out of the driveway but we came and went throughout the day. Some of us could also hear the road noise all night. There is a sound machine and fans to help!

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is inviting and tastefully decorated. The beds were really comfortable too! Watching the sunset on the lake was breathtaking. We will definitely return to enjoy in the summer.

Wow! What a view! We traveled to MI for my son’s wedding and needed a place to host us all. The property was beautiful. Charles was super responsive and helped with numerous questions in getting us settled. We had a fantastic stay! We had a mishap and forgot an item and Charles contacted me immediately. What to say about the dragonfly inn. I genuinely wanted to move in permanently. D and Tim’s humble abode made us feel like we were home. They thought of every little thing down to earbuds, a sound machine and water bottles at every end table in the bedrooms. We brought our dogs and they got them toys and made us a welcome basket. Before even arriving they communicated with us to make sure that everything we needed they would have for us. They were accommodating, helpful, friendly and their home was a true home away from home. The next time we are in Michigan we will choose to stay here again. It was relaxing, peaceful and such a beautiful place to stay. If you are considering staying here, do yourself a favor and book the dragonfly inn! You won’t regret it.

We would like to thank to the host, we really enjoyed staying over there. The house is beautiful and perfectly located on lake. We had all the stuff inside in a house, so you don’t need to worry that essentials won’t be there. Owner replied to our questions really fast, and gave us all the answers we needed. We have been pleased at staying over there, and I would highly recommend this house.

House was clean and cozy. Heating and water temperature were nice. beds and linens were comfortable and the area wqs cozy. Only negative that I can really think of is the low water pressure, which can fallen anywhere and still worked fine. was a great stay and Dang was very attentive and responsive.

As a family of four with two teenagers, we were blown away with our stay at this charming cottage in Michigan. Not only was the initial correspondence so welcoming and relational, but once we arrived, we found so many intentionally kind touches throughout the house. Our kids couldn’t have been happier with the thoughtful basket of snacks and my wife and I were very impressed with the unnecessary but incredibly thoughtful bottle of wine, along with a kind note. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, and the three season room with sky high windows was an incredible “get away” for my wife and I to have early morning coffee while our kids slept in. Our kids really loved watching movies in front of the fireplace, which also has a couch/pull-out bed. Additionally, the backyard, which was feet away from the lake, was complete with a hot tub, fire pit (perfect for smores) and paddle boats which we really enjoyed taking out on the lake. We had a wonderful time, and absolutely will be back!

My family and I came to White Lake for the first time to visit our daughter and her family. The area is so beautiful. Friendly folks. We absolutely loved the cottage and surroundings. We arrived on a Monday. A mother goose was on a nest directly across the canal from us. Enjoying our coffee on the patio Tuesday morning,we watched the babies hatch out. Wednesday they were led to the water for the time and came over in the yard to visit and feed. We saw deer on the island the canal forms. Swans,geese,ducks,squirrels, and,beavers were around all the time. The cottage was warm and comfortable with quiet surroundings except for all the animals which was nice. We also took the canoe out a few times into the lake and around the canal. It's a very nice place to stay and we didn't want to leave. Thanks to the host for a wonderful getaway.

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! The home and location were absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as listed and was so beautiful and homey. I just wish the weather had been a bit warmer to fully enjoy the outdoor seating and activities. I highly recommend and hope to visit again. Thanks so much!

We had a great stay at this little riverside cottage. Everything was updated and super cute. Hosts were great communicators and gave step by step instruction for everything. It was still cool enough that we did not use the outside amenities but did see that during the summer this would be a great place to be on the water or using the fire pit. Location was more private than I thought it would be; in the village but off on this short private drive along the river. My only surprise was the proximity of the local train but had I read everything that wouldn’t have been so shocked at 2am. It only happened on our first night and then not again but it was a hilarious “My Cousin Vinnie” moment. For sure you can walk downtown Milford because that is where you are, right off of Main Street. We ate at Lei Ting Blue Pearl one night. Upscale Asian food was very good and they did a lovely carryout. Corrati’s on main the next. We had two average pasta meals. Would definitely stay again. Loved it.

This is a great place to stay, especially with the view of the lake. And very thoughtful hosts who really tried to think of everything you might want at a lake property. Would love to come back when the weather is better!!

The cottage was great for our purposes over the Christmas holiday. Great views from the windows at the back of the house. The host was very accommodating. I can see where this would be a fun place to be in the summer!

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

Our stay was wonderful! I stayed at the cabin for the weekend with friends. We were competing in a horse show in the area and were gone most of the day but I wish we had more time to spend at the campground. The area was beautiful and peaceful by a lake. I would have loved to just spend the entire weekend there and hope to go back with family in the future. There was a lot to do with great amenities. You could go out on the lake with paddle boats or go hiking. The cabin that we stayed in was a good size for four people. We had a great time and would recommend.

Beautiful property, feels private and remote even though right off the highway. Unique mid-century modern decor/interior design — not your typical sterile, greige cookie cutter Airbnb! Responsive, friendly hosts. I stayed here over the Christmas holiday, and Matt went out of his way to salt/shovel the walkways/driveway the morning of Christmas Eve when it had snowed the previous night. Highly recommend, I would definitely stay here again!

The place was just as beautiful and peaceful as the pictures and Stephanie was nothing short of a fantastic host. HIGHLY recommend!

The cabin gave you a private, woodsy, middle of nowhere vibes without actually being in the middle of nowhere. Super close to amenities, restaurants and things to do. We did have to dispose of one spider but that made it feel all the more like you were actually in the woods.
