Cosy Pet Friendly Hideaway

This stay is an absolute GEM!! Such a beautiful location and well designed and thought out airbnb. The photos make it actually look smaller than it is, Jasmine and Ben added lovely little touches like milk, biscuits, drinks as well as lil scent spray in the bathroom along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The bed was super comfy and everything was presented like a home from home. Local recommendations led me to an amazing pub, The Red Lion in Litton was top not and not too far away. Chickens met me in the morning and sitting with a cuppa in their little garden terrace - bliss!! I highly recommend this stay and these guys as hosts were always there if needed and kindly donated to my charity walk that i was visiting for! 100% be back and will happily stay there over and over again :)

A beautifully designed house! Even better than the pictures and perfectly located. Tasteful decor and well equipped home meant this was a perfect stay for our birthday weekend away! We’d happily come and stay again!

Charming Cottage in the Heart of the Peak District

NeilRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage was perfect for a long weekend for us with my adult son. Wi-Fi was apparently a little unpredictable but everything else was fine. Garden is a lovely sun trap and the village is quiet but had all we needed - shop, pubs, restaurants and an amazing used book shop. Easy drive for my son and I to Edale for Kinder Scout walking and even easier to Millerdale for the Monsal trail. Thanks also Judith for the milk and cookies!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Mereview. The cottage was spotlessly clean with lots of thoughtful special touches. The bed was super comfortable with beautiful, quality bed linen, pillows etc… we looked forward to going to bed and difficulty getting up in the morning! Lovely view from the house over the pretty garden and to the mere. Fantastic large shower, lovely towels and toiletries. Would highly recommend stay here.

Carol was a great host, giving super clear instructions and recommendations for walks! The place is lovely and has everything you need, including shower gel (which was super helpful because I’d forgotten ours!). In a great location if you are wanting to go for the walks in the area. Lots of lovely cafes and a great Italian are a 30 second walk away. Overall we had a lovely stay!

Unique & stylish converted Chapel - Peak District

JohannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here for a week late May/early June and all agreed that this is one of the nicest places -- if not the nicest -- that we have ever stayed in. The airbnb itself is beautiful. Simon was a gracious and generous host and had left the kitchen stocked with all kinds of goodies which he encouraged us to consume. We had 3 dinners at the Shoulder of the Mutton -- just because we so much liked their food -- took a number of hikes, checked out Liverpool and visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park [very much worth the hour drive] and Chatworth. All was stunning. I can't recommend this place more highly.
