Such a lovely place out of the noise of the city to have a needed quiet weekend 🫶 Looking forward to staying again for longer!

This is a quaint and cosy spot tucked away in the bush with birds, a small stream and loads of greenery to keep you company. Tom explained the set up really well and I can tell the cottage is a well loved place with lots of history and stories. The bird feeder on the deck was a great form of entertainment with tui and bell birds using it from dawn till dusk. Walking the tracks on the property gives you great views of the valley and surrounding hills and large patches of native bush made for some fun botanising. This is a quintessential kiwi family-owned place and such a vibe!

Comfortable, warm, unique stay.

The most beautiful backyard I’ve ever had! The two waterfalls were just incredible, and anytime you opened your door there was the sound of gushing water, trees moving, birds etc. So peaceful for the mind. The place was spotless and really well furnished, had everything you could need for a trip!! Great smelling eco friendly products and was offered the choice of oat or soy milk :). Loved being able to use a bbq for all my meals and just enjoy some peace and quiet. Very comfy bed, good lighting and even indoor activities to do. Couldn’t have asked for much more, thank you for having us!
