The graduation wall and thermal bath are within walking distance, about 10 minutes away. Excursions to the rural surroundings are possible on foot or by bike on signposted cycling and hiking trails. The city of Soest is 6 km away and can be reached by bus and train. The Möhnetalsperre can be explored by bike.

The west of Bielefeld is the ideal location to explore the city and surrounding area. Within walking distance, there is a lot to reach: the Kunsthalle, Oetkerhalle, the train station and the city center. The university is also close by. The location is ideal for trips to the Externsteine or the Hermann Monument. Hikers can walk to the Hermansweg directly from here. We are happy to give many tips. Outdoor fans, take note! On our farm we have just the thing for you: A cozy wooden car with a loft bed (1.40 m) and sofa bed (1.20 m) and a shepherd's wagon with a large lying area (2 m x 2.20 m). There is also a shower house with toilet in the meadow. Our ducks and pigs live right next door. There is electricity. Wi-Fi is available in the farmhouse 150 meters away. There you can use a kitchen. Breakfast basket (also vegetarian) can be booked for €9/person

Bamenohl Castle - Fireplace room apartment

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

Cozy room in the country house with horses

The room is located on the courtyard side of our farmhouse, which was built in the 1950s and renovated, right next to our horse stable. It is furnished in vintage style with old pieces of furniture that have been lovingly refurbished and exudes a lot of coziness that fits the rural area. In the immediate vicinity are several lakes that invite you to take a walk. The place is also an ideal starting point for cycling tours along the Lippe.

My mono Teuto

NEW: Right next to "Mono" is another house, "Nest in the Forest." You can also visit. Or both… “Mono” is a trailer that was converted decades ago. In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. It is called "Mono" because its exterior, like every room inside, is mainly determined by one color.

The attic apartment is ideal for guests who are also looking for a simple, practical and inexpensive apartment for a longer period of time. The apartment is 23 square meters. It is fully furnished, has a fiber optic internet connection and a TV. The apartment on the second floor is located in an apartment building with twelve apartments (built in 1958) with a correspondingly simple environment.
