Our cottage has a living room, kitchen, 2 sleeping alcoves and sauna. While on holiday, you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the lake scenery or read a book while lying in a hammock. In 2020, this stunning villa is hand-carved from a couple hundred year old Karelian sleds. A huge view window gives a spectacular view over the water. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, two bedrooms, a toilet and sauna facilities Underfloor heating, an air source heat pump, and a fireplace ensure a comfortable temperature all year round. The holiday is crowned by our 6-person outdoor hot tub, big, and avanto. No pets, no smoking. Bed linens 15€/person, final cleaning 120€.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

New sauna room by the lake

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Even though a small, stylish sauna room is part of our yard, you'll find peace, nature, privacy, and lovely scenery here. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat in use. Additional fee of €70 for use of the hot tub. Bring your own linens and towels. However, in an exceptional situation, linens can be arranged from the place to stay with a separate fee.

Just a 25-minute drive from the center of Joensuu. Peaceful location, especially good for couples to calm down. Located on the shore of Viinjärvi. The cottage has a renovated kitchen and sauna in -20. The cottage has washing water from the lake, but drinking water must be brought. There is also hot water from the tap in the kitchen. Heating the cottage with a baking oven and an air source heat pump. Compost toilet in a separate building. Linens are not included. No pets.

Kukkupuu - Lakeside cabin only for summer

A typical Finnish summer hut with a large panoramic window to the lake. Cozy but simple amenities. Small kitchen and electricity available. Two superimposed sleeping bunks with mattresses for up to 4 people each and an extra bed in the lower bedroom. On the grounds there is also a private guest cabin, where 2 people can comfortably stay. Outside eco toilet. The cabin has its own sauna with wood fires, a fireplace inside and one outside on the terrace.

From the pier you can swim after the sauna or try their fish on the road. There are jogging trails about 200 meters away and ski trails in winter. Lykynlampi outdoor area with frisbee golf courses is about three kilometers away.
